It's a decent enough beginniner job and that's it the pay is bad, the work is repetitive and obnoxious, sick days aren't a thing at all you lose out on money if you take any time off, and the place is mismanaged as a whole you'll be doing one thing a certain way then out of no where you're going to be told to do it a completey different way just making things more obnoxious at least on the side of detailing something I found annoying was the gaslighting during company meetings about working hard to potentially being promoted to a full time position not naming any names but someone who has worked there full time for several years straight up told us that won't happen since all the full time spots have been taken up and the chances of them being free are likely never gonna be a thing there was free food provided on the occasion and that was very nice and coworkers were all fun people I'll say that but overall I don't have a whole ton of positive things to say about this place I'm thankful for the opportunity and the experience it gave me to put on my resume but I wish the pay was better and the place was cleaner in terms of overall management 

Management is the biggest problem at RCT. The CEO is very uninvolved in the goings of the company and has a favorable bias towards other senior members of management and allows unethical business practices to be conducted.  For example, the head of finances is also the head of HR as a formality to show they have an HR department in the company and the individual themselves is a very rude and closed off person. Safety was never a concern when i started there and only because my observations, did things improve. The hardest part was was learning to give yourself gratitude for pulling through the busy days since you never receive any appreciation from management. The most enjoyable part of the job was dealing with my direct supervisor and co-worker as they understood the hardships of working at RCT.

The work mostly involves assemble computers, working with advance inventory system to do the orders, identify any computer related problems, repair/replace any problems occur during the assemble. My experience in Renew computer technology has improved my technical skills as well as my people skills. I can identify most computer related problems, such as hardware (hard drive, RAM, Motherboard,etc) issues, missing drivers in the windows 7 or 10 operating systems. I have been a Lead Technician in several program. Recently, I am managing two programs at once. I was leading SRP (Syrian Refugees Program) where my team shipped over 1000 computers. Being a Lead Technician has help my leadership skill, time management skill and my communication with my co-workers and my managers. Overall, experience in RCT is productive and fun, friendly.

Good place for new immigrants with low incomes to get refurbished computers and laptops with genuine Microsoft office at affordable prices. I have had great experience with this company. Great customer service. Products ship quickly and they always make it right if there is a problem. Every customer have had very good service with RCT. As with anything there are times when you need the vendor to go to bat for your situation and RCT has proven to be that vendor! Shipment very timely. When you have a warranty issue, they get it taken care of right away. RCT are very reliable and took care of all my needs. They go above and beyond to find the right technologies for schools.

It was good the first few months I was there and I learned a lot but after a few months they were more like rush rush and pressured environment without much room to learn. It is good for starting out, but it is not enough to pay the bills. The lady in the front who controlled everything is very strict, disrespectful and made coming to work there dreadful. This person looked down on you in every way possible and really made me feel like a terrible worker when I really wasn't at all. Supervisors and lead techs were okay though. There was encouragement but not a lot.

RCT is a good place to work if you're starting out in IT. You learn the basics of how to both take apart and refurnished computers and everyone is friendly and welcoming. The management, while somewhat unreasonable in their quotas, are understanding and treat you as a person instead of a means to an end. The hardest part of the job would be keeping up with the weekly quota since the work, while fulfilling, is pretty tedious and repetitive after a few hours. The best part of working there is the people, they support each other and treat each other with respect and dignity.

During my time there, management was not friendly and supportive. This was a job requiring little experience and was intended to promote growth, None of these benefits felt achievable given the cold nature of those in charge. I never felt comfortable asking questions. I was chewed up in front of a group of coworkers regarding a mistake a made, BEFORE I WAS EVER MADE AWARE I MADE A MISTAKE! This is how they teach apparently. My new employer is way more positive and wondered why I was so scared to ask questions when I started. I told them this was how I was made to feel at my prior company.

Overall it is an ok job. It's an easy job to do and I did meet some cool people while I was there. However what prevents me from ranking the job higher than I did was the low pay, and the fact that it is a temporary job. The task that I was doing was quite physical and could be a little dirty sometimes as well so if your not into that (which I'm not) then there is that to deal with as well. 

The whole Team were all good friends and going into work was fun.I had many great Memories with all the Workers. I was kinda sad to leave. The Manger was a great dude and didn't really care what was going on as long as the Set goal for the day/month was reached.

Horrible horrible horrible! Management is very verbally abusive. Its very unethical and uncomfortable. I would think twice before accepting a contract position or internship here. Ive run into two former employees since I left, who both articulated similar feelings.
