Rapid Response Restoration

I was here March 2017 to late summer.
It was a great place to work. I started as an assistant. Then they put me on the construction team. The construction team was a riot. The foreman can be rough around the edges but if you tried, jokes would be flying. 
When I started out, everyone is guaranteed 80 hour pay checks, if there was not much work in the restoration world. So you would clean everything and be a labourer. But if an emergency happened, you were expected to go. Give and take right? 
I find the managers good. They are the type if you put in a lot of overtime at night and/or the weekend, they would allow you to go home early. Very appreciative.
If you just want to always go home and not want any calls, this company is not for you.
It is more than fair that the owner will give you the hours, in return he wants you to generate a profit by working. Some days you run errands for the company and deliver stuff to the owners house. 
When there is a slow day, they train you on majority of the machines and how to use the chemicals.

The only negative side in my opinion is I wish we could use accumulated vacation time after 3 months. You have to wait a year.

This company has to be the BEST restoration company in Calgary! The team is always ready to help out on the next claim and whenever we end up needing an extra hand. Even management comes to play! This company and the people employed there have your back 100%! I have never felt like my work was family until I worked here. 

The team here always is willing to help train and teach new people any tricks we have along the way as well. As long as you just show up everyday and explain whenever situations don’t go ideal you will have no worries! I have learned so much construction and emergency things! If you are willing to grow and dedicated they will help you out! 


I have been employed with rapid response for almost 2 years. In this time I have had on going training covering all aspects of the service Rapid response provides. The owner is a very caring, compassionate, honest, hands on employer who has the staff's best interest in mind. The on going training ensures in a safe environment resulting in quality service. The management team is extremely helpful and willing to roll up there sleeves to make sure you have everything you need to get the job done. The owner and management go out of there way to make sure this is a safe and fun environment to work in. I look forward to furthering my career with rapid response, gaining more knowledge  and advancing within the company.

I had the opportunity to work as an assistant technician at Rapid Response, management is really supportive, as long as you do your work and meet the quality and safety standards you will get promoted and well seen by the team. The shop is the most organized and clean place ever seen. The owner really cares about his employees, there's always training, career advancement, a nice work environment, and a good attitude spread through the team. 

the coworkers was generally pretty good. But management was a joke. The contruction supervisor has no idea about actual construction bylaws and regulations. He does wverthing willy nilly and doesnt tske any commemts or advice from his crew. Even tho they have donenthis for decades!! The only thing he knows is drywall. He'll brag about putting 40 boards up in a day. But yet cant hang a door to save his life. He micro manages you beyond belief. 

Then we can start on there leoject mamagers and owners who have no idea about contruction business at all. They where cleaners!!!

Management is involved in claims which makes it easier for field staff to complete their tasks. Management always answers the phone when needed.  Good pay, benefits and RRSP matching program.  Fun atmosphere and sense of team work. Training provided.  Shop is extremely clean. Job sites kept clean and safe.  Rapid Response cares about the end client and about having respect for their property. They instill this mindset in all their employees.

Overall good company to work for.

Great company to work for. Ownership prioritizes the health and safety of its employees and provides ongoing in house training. If you put forth a genuine effort you will be rewarded. The company promotes from within. I was promoted months into my employment. The industry is hard and can have long days. Work is just a phone call away. If you want 9-5 then this industry is not for you. Management is organized and involved with high expectations. Great team environment.

I have been working for Rapid Response Restoration for several years.
The work can be demanding but satisfying knowing you have helped others in their time of need.
There can be long days and work without notice.
I have seen and have been advanced and trained throughout my time with Rapid Response.
The culture  of the company is team. 
The management  are organized, team focus based on customer satisfaction without compromise to safety of the staff and clients.

All the techs are nice, wish I could say the same for management. The people who run this company are quite heartless and ruthless. If you have kids or any life outside of work, don't apply. Because if there is ever an emergency in your personal life, you could easily get written up. Not to mention their "tool box buying" (you buy the tools you don't have but need for the job) they charge you extra for them. Even if for example you 'buy' a $20 item they will deduct $50 off your paycheck for it.

Its is a very fun and friendly environment. everyone is making jokes but you are still getting done what needs to be done everything is organized if you need documentation they will supply it to you. they are always nice to there clients no matter what the only down fall is that you have to work 1 year to get vacation time
