The first thing that stands out about REW is their culture: close-knit, collaborative, and team-oriented. 

You can't help but make friends here. They also have a dynamite management team. The CEO is enigmatic, and always 10 steps ahead of where the company is headed. The General Manager is the smartest, kindest manager you could ever work for. The same can be said for the rest of the management team. Just stellar people all-round.

REW is a fantastic place to grow your career. It moves quickly, keeping up with the pace of the marketplace, and gives you opportunities to learn, especially from your peers.

The hardest part of working at REW is the pace. Sometimes it moves quicker than it can be communicated, which can be frustrating for those people who need order. It does keep you on your toes, giving you skills that are transferable to your next adventure, without question.

The most enjoyable part of working here, for me, is actually working with the customers. You really can solve a lot of problems, make things easier for them, and get to know them in the process. Customers are from ALL OVER North America, which is really neat. You know that you have the best product on the market to back you up. 

Completely recommend checking REW out. You won't be disappointed!

I had only been at Real Estate Webmasters a short time but it's almost like I had formed a bond with my colleagues, especially my office mate. It can be hectic but once you're organised you will find it very rewarding as well. As a project manager I had the opportunity to work with different development squads and interesting clients and I learnt so much and improved my skills daily. It's not perfect by any means, but the culture and people made it a place I enjoyed working.

I was at Real Estate Webmasters for a few years. 

The other comments about feeling insecure about your job hit the nail on the head. Over my time there, so many people were terminated for no reason and that weight stays with you on a day to day basis. There was no transparency or communication between departments. The entire company is micromanaged under the thumb of the CEO. Various department managers are useless or only self-serving. Promotion in the company is non-existant. And to top it off, their wages are absolute garbage. They will claim to be comparable to "other similar industries" where they really are no similar industries nearby. Anyone who left after a year or so could go do similar work for 25-50% more pay. 

All in all, 0/10. Avoid this place at all costs.

I've been with the company for 5 years and it keeps getting better. REW has invested in a new leadership team that is just starting to click into place, and it's bringing the whole company to a new level. The work environment has improved, the benefits were overhauled, the people are as great as they'very ever been, and it's an exciting time to be part of the REW team. The work itself can be challenging, in a good way, and the company is constantly evolving at a fastore pace. I'd definitely check out jobs here if you're interested in a technology career on the gorgeous west coast best coast.

For the first few years, I loved my job. But I soon came to see that there was massive turn over, and with good reason. 
-Poor, top heavy management with little to no knowledge of the products.
-Raises? Nope, sorry. 
-Wages are not competitive. 
-Every department is in its own silo - they have no idea how other departments work.
-"Pizza Fridays" = one or more people getting fired. 

I stayed so long because of the people, but eventually that just wasn't enough.


I only worked at Real Estate Webmasters a short time, but that was too long. Fear, micromanagement and a focus on profit removes any career satisfaction. Owner operates the business as though it is a cult - with himself the center of all power, adoration, and recognition. Some very good co-workers, but the overall burden of not knowing from one moment to the next if your head will be the next one on the chopping block made being there unbearable. Please stay far away from this place.

Real Estate Webmasters was an amazing opportunity that challenged my abilities everyday. There was always something new to learn and explore, keeping each day different. As a product consultant it was my responsibility to respond to lead's inquiries in a timely and informative manner. It was important to develop a trusting relationship with clients and enable them to exceed their professional goals and targets. This position helped me to grow and reach a new level of confidence in several different ways.

Having worked there for 15 months - the company went through some management changes and work place job security went out the window.  They started to let people go across the whole company - saying they weren't a fit for REW. I was one of those - but some of these people were 10 year veterans.

Pay is low to average for the industry and that is really what they seem to strive for. An attitude that shouts "see we are not the worst!"

Its sad for me though, I enjoyed the work.

Pros:
- Very nice people to work with
- People are supportive
- Open communication

Cons:
- Lack of development works
- Need a better process to evaluate employee to have a right decision
- Still need to improve development process and communication between employee and manager
- It is more important to improve tech skills of tech team rather than document/tracking

I worked there for a year. The job itself wasn't as bad, but I watched people get fired left and right.  All for no logical reason. They did pay severance, I'll give them that, but never would I recommend that place a good place to work.
