A typical day is 5-6hrs and ranges through 3 different shifts.  There is always something to do, so time passes quickly.  I've learned the importance of customer service - getting to know regulars and their orders gives a fun vibe.   Management is phenomenal!  Needs for scheduling are always considered.  Workplace issues are quickly solved - inventorybissues, how to qu3stuons etc.  Workplace culture is happy and positive and any conflicts are helped through by management.  The hardest part of the job is trying to sort through, unpack and label inventory while still serving customers.  Extra staff should be brought in to deal with it.  The most enjoyable part is beginning to be able to give recommendations  as my knowledge base grows.  Giving customers options based on knowing product makes me feel more confident in my job/role.

I learn something new everyday, this industry is  constantly changing, forcing you to learn and grow or be left behind. Knowledge is power. 
Upper Management is always available to assist and guide me to success. 
The hardest part of this job is keeping up with the changing product and regulations.My  Most enjoyable part is building relationships with the  customers. The greatest bonus is all the free knowledge on Cannabis that is available in abundance if you want to learn. 
This company has great opportunity for advancement for capable employees. Finding Capable employees seems to be the tough part.



From one budtender to another, don’t work here if you want to be happy at your job. They are the most money hungry, selfish company i have ever worked for in my life. they take employees tips to cover till discrepancies, are rude and belittling to staff, and blame ever error and problem on lower level staff. Management is a disaster and only cares about profit. They could care less about employees or how they feel, all this company cares about is money.  They don’t help at all with problems and instead berate and get angry with the staff, they don’t encourage any growth whatsoever (not that they give you any opportunity too), and will find the smallest reasons to fire you if they don’t like you. 

This job caused me so much stress that I had no choice but to quit, they give you 3 training shifts and then you’re COMPLETELY on your own. If a problem arises management is incredibly hard to reach, there’s about 10 different managers that all do different things and I would ask for help then have a random number call me. They are incredibly aggressive about inventory and if you don’t sell enough of the daily special you will be belittled. There was absolutely 0 support or care from management, coworkers were great and really supportive but there’s a lot of having to be secretive between coworkers because of fear of management. Truly one of the most unorganized companies I have ever worked for.

I have never worked for a worse employer in my life. They could not care less about their employees and treat them as disposable. The HR manager literally said retail employees have expiry dates. We got messages in the group chat practically once a week about "restructuring the team" and how bad we are, you will never hear one positive thing from the management here. Delivery drivers are not paid for their gas or use of their personal vehicle as your tip money is "enough to cover it". On top of that you have zero job security and no idea if you will have a job tomorrow.

Tl;dr: Underpaid, no delivery KMs, toxic management, zero benefits, zero job security.

A typical day at work would be getting 100 messages from people that aren’t even in your district, nor closer than 20 hours away. God forbid there be a problem because no one will answer you, they decide to make you suffer instead of actually training you at all, you’re lucky if you get maybe one day of actual training on the till and your left by yourself. The amount of employees that come and go from the store is absolutely insane. the customers were fantastic and other employees were pretty great to work with  

I joined T-cannabis in September, and quit in November; There was just little things that me and my co-worker noticed while working there, that they’d take off some hours off your pay check; and that you never got any breaks for 8-10 hour shifts even know your supposed too; even how the company is ran; it’s really weird, the entire time I worked there I was only ever able to talk to 1 person, the regional manager; even when I tried contacting HR no response, from me or my co-worker; I would not recommend working here, they leave you too much to deal with on your own time, and don’t treat there employees every well.

Upper management is incapable of running a company. They do not help current employees who want to move up, like advancing positions or adjusting wage to inflation (yet they will pay new employees more than current ones). Constant scheduling errors and poor communication is all due to the HR department that could not improve this company if their life depended on it. Upper management also does not listen to any suggestions or complaints to help the store

Don't waste your ambition or hard work on this company. They do not reward or praise anything. There is no management at the actual store, just constant critical WhatsApp messages. You get one maybe two training shifts before being left alone, no one responds when there's an issue and a customer getting frustrated standing in front of you. Its also impossible to get anything ordered in like accessories.
