While I was with TBM, I was working as a Housekeeper; this was my first full time employment and it was a great experience since I was working in the athletes village during the Pan-am games in Toronto. For the most part, individuals working in housekeeping were all geared towards providing friendly service and support to residents in the village. In this regard, the workplace culture was positive and diligent. Management always provided a clear schedule and consistently communicated with staff. 
Since the majority of the positions were temporary, there was no benefits for the workers; however lunch and snacks were provided every day  - the food was good. 
This position did not provide me with any future job assurance since the managers were under contract and did not hold permanent positions with TBM, which made it difficult to contact supervisors to use as references.

The project is often stalled due to ground condition. However, the supervisors are good, approachable and listen to suggestions. Work place is safely ensured as management is strictly observing safety protocols.

Good Company to work for never had an issue with them.  they paid on time and never had an issue with them paying.  Never had an issue with the time off they were really good and worked with me,

i love working forTBM because I love cleaning i love working with the people they have good benefit the location have been good fo me however the hours were not compatible with my schedule

Safety is first here and if you are a very much interested in driving a bus and you have valid driver license for that kind of a work then you can apply and go ahead of doing it.

Had to tend to the customers as well as display crowd control regularly on my shifts.  Had to inform customers of updates such as re-routes and information on shuttle buses.

those that work hard get more work, no raises 
bosses are fair friendly, as are most co workers, TTC staff are main reason people quite, rare access to bathroom

Have a table tennis area where one can chill during the break. The break is usually quite lengthy and the work is good. Quite friendly people and group work is made easier

A lot of standing and work,  management is really understanding and flexible but was training need a bit of improvement. Overall a good place to work if you don’t mind the long hours.
