Working as an Office Administrator at TDR Electric was a fun and exciting experience. They consistently check in to see how you’re doing, and if you ever need assistance, they’re quick to step in without any hesitation. At TDR Electric, you’re not just an employee—you’re genuinely treated like family.

Because of the wide variety of projects of all sizes, TDR has helped me get experience in almost every type of electrical work. You wont find yourself doing the same thing for any long period of time like you might a company that does tower construction, or that has hundreds of employees where you might be made to do only one thing. The diversity of experience and focus on training everyone to have every skill more than makes up for any fault I experienced.

I have been working here for over 2 years. I really enjoy the people I work with and the projects we are on. It has been great to watch the company grow as well over the years. Both my foreman and project manager are helpful, easy to talk to and knowledgeable as well. My foreman also really takes the time to teach me which I haven’t experienced before. 

As a service coordinator, TDR offers a lot of opportunities to learn and grow. It's a fast-paced work environment, which I enjoy a lot. Coworkers and managers are very supportive and kind.  There are also fun company events to meet people and build connections with the team. I feel happy going to the office every day. I will recommend TDR to anyone looking for career growth and support in a workplace. 

I have worked at TDR for 3 years now,  the environment is fast paced and the variety of work keeps it interesting. The foreman here are knowledgeable and patient. I feel like I have been able to grow within the company, they also offer training. I would recommend TDR as a place to work. The benefits include RRSP matching which is great. 

Project managers are given profit sharing incentives which translates into cheapness and cost cutting wherever possible, which in turn creates stressful expectations for employees actually performing the work. Certain project managers also have little knowledge of the industry and depend on the competency of people under them to complete jobs correctly and on time. So essentially your doing your job as well as your PM's job for him.

I’m really happy to be working at this company. Since I started, I’ve felt supported and appreciated, and I’ve been given real opportunities to grow and take on new challenges.

What makes it even better is the people; everyone is so helpful and always willing to support each other. It makes a big difference knowing you have a team that’s got your back.

I have worked here for over 3 years and it has been a excellent place to work. There is a good variety of work and a great team to work with, I have made some good friends as well since I have been here. We have grown significantly since I started working here and I have seen myself and my colleagues all move up in the company.

TDR had an awesome variety of work, which was great for employee development. But you are thrown into the fire, and set up to fail. Jobs were poorly planned, materials missing, and on an unrealistic timeline and you are told to just "figure it out" with little incentive. Pay was average, but raises were non-existent.

Very happy with the company. Would recommend working there to anyone. There are many positions in many areas of the trade and if you stick around a while, there are opportunities to move around and learn many different aspects of the industry.
