This company is the biggest joke, Don’t waste your time. 
1. Most of their equipment is garbage. They tell you to write issues with your machine on your time cards yet they never fix it. 

2. They hire literally anybody. 

3. The work is sporadic. 

4. 90% of the people you work with don’t have common sense, Which makes most days frustrating. 

5. If you call in sick or book a day off they’ll put you on hold for the next 2-7 days and come up with excuses. 

6. Seniority doesn’t mean anything there. 

7. They’ll lie and tell you a jobsite is down for the day when it’s actually not. 

8. They don’t pay enough then act like it’s a big shock when people quit. 

9. They find the cheapest hotels when you’re staying out of town. 

10. You complain to the higher ups about unsafe workers, they do nothing and they lie and say they’re taking care of it. 

11. They sit experienced drivers at home while they train new people. 

12. All they do is lie to you and tell you what you wanna hear. The people in the office only care about themselves.

I got hired as a haul truck operator, everything was as promised. 
The work schedule was affected by weather, but that's what you get with outdoor work. 
Overall the people were very friendly, the safety rules were in place that you're expected to follow, very laid back work environment, no one hovering over your shoulder, get sent to a job site, follow the safety rules and you'll do great! 
The management took care of a concern I had very promptly and were very understanding about days I have to take off. 
Overall a very positive experience.

I work here while ago here's a summary of what expect

1) Old machines that break down a lots
2) Lost days from weather and break downs
3) advertises for good pay but changes after 2 weeks to lower pays
4) they hire anyone even shady people who never get fired
5) rundown motel accommodation thats full of shady people 
6) they want loyal workers but are not loyal to their own employees
7) everyone talks about leaving because they hate company
8) they advertise support for injured but truth is they fire you

The equipment used is far beyond what people in this country should be subjected to.

The requirement of driving hundreds of Kilometers to site, only to be sent home for not being 15 minutes early is a common occurrence. 

The ONLY perk of this job is an extra paid half hour for 'servicing' the equipment which is almost never done. 

They rely on text communication to manage schedules refusing to believe a message was dropped. not a good way to manage a company.

The people that run this company are good people.  The starting wages make sense for people just starting out in the heavy equipment field. You need to be independent and reliable.  Management is reasonable and understanding.  The most enjoyable part of the job is the people, the workplace culture is good.  The hardest parts of the job is the repetitiveness, the moving around to different sites and the level of independence that is required.  If you need a lot of direction all the time this workplace is not for you

Place started off great put me to work right away loved feeding crushers and everything involved in it. Then put on a rock truck for way to long and work for a manager who took naps twice a day. Laid off in winter totally expected. Keep in contact weekly asked in spring how things where and if the crusher was started up. They said they weren’t having me back so wait all winter and left in the wind when spring came bad taste in my mouth after working for them

Worked for this company last summer most terrible company I've worked for got hired to operate dozer and was supposed to make $26/hr an travel lots to stay in hotels for work never seen a dozer once was put into a tractor watering haul roads an got screwed in my wage $20/hr also was given four day weekends all the time worst company I've seen in years they talk big but can't follow through with anything

If you're a new operator looking to get experience, finding a job with them is easy and you'll be able to get seat time to help you advance as an operator. Long term though you're better off seeking employment elsewhere once you have the experience you need, you can end up being out of work for weeks at a time, and they're very reluctant to give pay raises or fair travel compensation.

i drove a rock truck and loved it most people around me helped me out if i didn't know what to do or needed help out of stick spot. it is a seasonal job so not that good if u want to work all year but it is a fulling filling job leaving work knowing u did something to change community in good way. bad part is that u don't get called back ever season.

Working with a travelling crusher crew, great team, great management, we do what we gotta do! I was a union operator for majority of my career but now find myself a company man, they are treating me great and i will work and produce work even greater!
