Do not work with them if you really need work and do not apply for full-time 

Hard to get a response for your scedule text them 3 days in a row they will read your message and still not get back to you for an extra day or start calling you last minute an hour before a shift starts. 

If you really need money don't rely on them. 

Yes you gain experience and get to work at different places but to deal with their management and staff is not worth any of it. 

All you get from this job is flexibility and expiration In Different environments. 

I would recommend working with a different staffing company as there are lots lots around. 

Very disappointed with talent and their lack of professionalism. 

You will chase them around for shifts and then they will complain when you don’t respond within a few hours when they take the whole day or days to simply say yes or no or I’m not sure yet. 


Serving at a banquet halls typical day would be, arriving to work 15 minuets early, checking tables we are assignment too, critically looking over the menu to make sure e are prepared for the event. Learn how to work well in a fast pace environment, how to communicate well with others, take proper orders and request. Co-workers are helpful and resourceful when hosting a big event. Carrying heavy tray's from that sections we are assigned too seems to be the hardest part about the job. Being able to help those in need with my services and enjoying the fun and social environment is always a pleasure while working

Talent Employment is a JOKE. They allow you to work at a location only until you're about to get hired on.. If Talent gets a "release request" for a temp from the company that temp is working for, they pull the plug on the temps opportunity for full time work by not signing off on your "release".

 I understand business is business and Talent is making money off of temps every hour they work.... But there's a line, when you're messing with someone's livelihood.. It's not right.

It’s a great place to start working if you don’t have a  job already. Some places the agency sends you to have are. Rude and have no manners. Other places are great and friendly.

Most places I have been sent to is in Vaughn, some times the subway isn’t working and I have to take Uber or really think of alternate routes just in case o these delays. By thee time you work 8 hours you have spent most of it on travelling to the location.

A day at work would be hard work and tiring. I learned quite a lot about carrying and using your strength. Being able to manage and kill time was a lot of work. Working with the co-workers was really fun, I enjoyed meeting new people. The hardest part of the job I'd say would be trying so hard not to drop the food off the tray that is suppose to be served. Overall I'd say the most enjoyable part of the job is just being there and eating the tasty restaurant food.

They're disorganized, rude, and you'll jump through hoops for your pay.  Almost everyone I talked to in the company was extremely condescending. The pay is low. No tips. I worked two shifts. During the first I heard staff complaining about not getting their pay, and so far I've been given two separate excuses why they haven't mailed me my cheque. This company is just attitude and excuses.

working with talent is okay but when it came too having to decline shifts they would make it seem like if i wasnt able to work a shift it would cause them to have to look elsewhere which made no sense, they are a staffing agency, if one person cant accept a shift , there shouldnt be any problem moving on to someone else.

The company is able to accommodate your needs as a starting job based on your experiences and skillset.

Carpools are available if you're assigned outside Toront, but the fare isn't covered. The fare is fixed at 5$ fortunately.

I’ve never written anything bad about an employer or put in a claim with employment standards in my life prior to this. I felt like Talent (Wellesley) had it out for me, based on personal characteristics, but not based on a problem with my work. Maybe they favor their friends... but not me , that’s for sure

This job would take place mostly evenings to nights because thats when most events were held. I learned a lot about different cultures, the hardest part of the job was how fast pace everything was. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to see many different cultural events.
