Telesolutions International

Like all jobs you will begin with an entry level position as a TSR or Telemarketer. Your job is to get 8 sales and 8 Leads per day.
Full Time Employees work monday-friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and you will be required to work every 2nd saturday of every month from 9 am - 2 pm
Part Time Employees will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
All Employees will recieve full pay, with an hourly wage starting at $10.25/hr. Full Time Employees will revieve a minimum of $1,600.00 a month, being paid $400.00 Per Week on every consecutive Monday.

Full Time Employees can make over $2,000.00 depending on your sales and Commission.

If you are chosen to proceed with the interview, you will most likely be a candidate for hire only if you are asked to attend the day long orienteering the following day. 2 days following the interview you will have already completed the orienteering, therefor you will automatically be placed into the call center on your first full day of work on the 2nd day.
You will be monitored and trained by a superior supervisor. Any questions you have you can ask your supervisor because he or she will train for five days consecutively.

Once those five days are completed, you will be required to work independently as a telemarketer therefore beginning a 2 week trial period. If you dont meet the demands of the job in those 2 weeks you will be resigned from your position.

You will have to have these skills to be a successful employee.

People can advance to higher positions.

Hardest part of the job is getting those leads and sales because you are selling a product to the person on the other line.

The easiest part of the job is that your making great money sitting all day at your station on the phone. No hard work at all, just Commitment.

Everyday started with a positive chant/meeting in the sales room to get everyone pumped up, brains functioning and ready to sell. Telesolutions had different sales campaigns that I took apart of, Mainly we dealt with sales of magazines with incredible discounts for our customers who purchased a contract with us. Original contact to customer would be made through cold-calling. Once customer is interested in Magazine Discount offers they would be transferred over to a Customer Service Supervisor ( Like me) and I would finalize the sale and contract while ensuring all the information and mailing address is correct.  I've learned a lot about sales, rebuttling the customer to convince the service is great if they are on the fence. Learned how to set up Legal Audio contracts with customers, also learned to listen and clam customers down by explaining the situation of something when something in the service is different than originally discussed. The Hardest part of the Job would be trying to convince customers on any sales during the recession, holidays, or any tight times in customers life, always a major satisfaction of the job is after getting the customer to go along with the contract and hearing them a lot happier afterwards in doing so. The co-workers were great, it was an intense sales floor between the co-workers also, the top 3 people with most sales in room got extra bonus on top of individual sales so it pushed the co-works to strive harder for the top spots over the other workers. ( Friendly competition)  Management was great, motivated people, also helped them with calls if Sales Supervisor was running into sales wall.

IT IS ALWAYS YOUR FAULT, AND NEVER THE CALLS!! 
If you like to work like a dog and get nothing for it, this is the job for you. If you want to waste your time training it here people only to have them walk on you, this job is for you. If you want to be compared to people who have been there for years and be told you're not good enough, this is the job for you. If you want to be sent home because your number terrible but watch other people doing worse that you stay all day this is the job for you. If want to make great bonus (it is possible) and than have them CUT ALL YOUR BONUS FOR THE WEEK!! because you missed a day and didnt bring a doctor note because you cant afford one, your late 5 mins more than once, get sent home, you made a mistake on a call you didnt know existed, or because they are in a bad mood. This is the job for you. For a fact you only 11.35/hr there is weekly pay but no direct deposit and they change when you get paid. Its fridays if you are there all day every day, if not than it becomes mondays. They will tell you are good just to keep you. They are not professional whatsoever THEY HAVE SENT ME WHILE I WAS TRAINING!!.... I was in the middle if explain how to handle the situation properly, when I get called over and told my number aren't good enough at 2:15 in the afternoon and I have to go home. If you desperately need a job take this, it is a good for now job. But honestly dont say you hate it if havent tried it and staying for a week isn't trying it...

Working part time at minimum wage 3 days a week for 3.5 hours per day with no break, I was making more in commissions for a day than I was from my actual hourly wage. 

There is really little/no opportunity for growth and advancement, people who have been there 8 years get the same hourly wage as the newbies being trained and the ones who started last week.

Managers want you to be aggressive and loud and arrogant on the phone, asking every question in a way that makes the client answer "yes" and not taking no for an answer (unless no is required), they want you to make sales and get transfers at any cost but then when you do so they penalize you for doing this and that and the other thing that does not follow their protocol. If you don't make sales, you lose your job, simple.   

Overall training really doesn't cover everything you need to know and the rules are very wishy washy, one manager will say "Yeah that is great keep it up!" and another will say "What possessed you to do that??!?" in regards to the same issues.  I once went a month without work and there were times my paycheque was not ready on time.

Fine for a part time activity to kill time for a bit of change to line your pockets but definitely not a job you can depend on in the long run or even in 3-6 months without compromising your sanity and general well-being

I recently worked at Telesolution, and unfortunately, it was one of the most stressful and disappointing workplaces I’ve ever been in. The management felt disorganized, unprofessional, and often created a very negative work environment. In my experience, supervisors spoke harshly, raised their voices, and used language I found inappropriate and discouraging.

The sales pressure was extremely high. I constantly felt pushed to sell products I personally did not feel good about promoting, especially when many callers were redirected to the company by mistake. If sales numbers weren’t met, the environment felt tense and uncomfortable, and I felt blamed rather than supported.

There were no sick days, no benefits, and only basic pay, which did not reflect the stress of the job. Working long back-to-back calls for hours, including calls that lasted 20 minutes or more, was exhausting. Even washroom breaks were unpaid, which added to the frustration.

I only lasted about a week because the environment felt overwhelming, and the expectations were unrealistic. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this workplace to others.

Never work here, never. Terrible way to start your day, specially when they keep giving you 15 minute time frames to get a sale or send you home. This job is absolute brain damaging and it ruins literally your healthy lifestyle, 99% employees smoke because of the stressfull job and the managers that put mad pressure on you when they even know that sometimes its a bad day. It always depends on the calls you get, you get so many voicemails and call the same people 20 times a day which is so bad because literally it makes you take too many calls which the supervisors complain about. 
Pay is good, very good you can literally get a $1000 paycheck weekly if you work with full luck but it rarely happens, they always find a way to mess your paycheck and cancel your whole weekly bonus and suspend you for a week. Lunch hour is literally inexistent, 25 minutes and if you are taking a call then it can be something like 10 or 15 minutes because managers don't give a lol. Big suggestion is never work here unless you are very helpless and really need money.
You don't even get paid for the lunch hour, they take 30 minutes off your shift and make it a 7.5 hours shift.

When I worked there, they didn't actually allow for breaks. You had break time, which was 15 minutes. But you could only ever use it for washroom breaks. The room managers were keen to tell everyone that you shouldn't be too long from your computer. Because that could be sales, ya know. Only break I got was a 15 minute lunch break. And if you finished earlier, you're back on the calls basically. 
The other telemarketers in my room were very nice. As with the managers. They're helpful if you have a question or a problem. But they also yell at you if you have too many calls and not enough sales. It's a fast pace work environment, so it's very easy to get stressed. 
I actually got so stressed out from the job it made me physically ill. I was scared to go back in. Mainly because of what I was selling. 
Other than that, if you're able to sell things, and you really don't mind what you're selling, this would probably be a good job for you. As long as you don't get easily stressed. Also make sure to bring some throat lozenges with you. They make you talk loud and with excitement, which can be a bit of a drain on your throat. Especially in the middle of winter through spring.

Worst mistake ever. Only work here when all else fails,  actually scratch that,  being broke and homeless would actually be better then working here.  
Pretty sure that "programs" they are trying to get us to sell are a giant scam (they make us claim were somewhere else then where we are if people ask) 
Lunch break is almost nonexistent. They make you take ONE half hour break (they don't let you split it into two 15s even). 
Computers you use look like they're from 1995, pretty sure I got an ear infection from the headsets. 
Pay is OK but they pay you by manual cheque (no direct deposit) which they use to manipulate people (ie,  come in and work Saturday get your cheque). Also if you miss a day during the week even for a legit reason (funeral) you still don't get your cheque on Saturday even if you work.  

This whole place is a scam,  stay away.  Work ANYWHERE else.

Its a mentally draining workplace. The training is inadequate, only lasts a few hours. Then your placed on the phones, with a book of answers that are all very vague. One scripted answer, could literally be used for 20 different questions. Customers call in for one reason and somehow get re-directed to the call centre, where you manipulate them into getting something they don't want. And your not even being honest about what they are getting. Lie, lie, lie = sale = bonus! It's a very dishonest way to earn money. They have a now hiring sign that never comes down for a reason. 
If your desperate and don't mind working in a crowded, warm, smelly and loud environment, with broken chairs, old headsets and a stone aged computer, while being yelled at by your manager (or coached - as they like to word it) WHILE your on the phone with a customer - then go for it - Enjoy the one and only break you get every day during that 8 hour shift. (in a small, crowded, dirty lunchroom) Move fast if you want a seat....

Overall my experience wasn't that great, there is very little support for employees during their shifts (dealing with constant rejection and inadequate training) you will be sent home early regardless of the effort you put into the shift. No communication whatsoever with the employees regarding expectations which creates a false sense of doing the job well. Claim to be open to script suggestions - THEY ARE NOT. It's their way or the highway. Method of payment is weird....direct deposit is WAY easier and environmentally friendly. The lunch break is EXTREMELY short (not 30 minutes) and the lunch room in the main building doesn't have a fridge.

However, I did improve on my skills overall which will help me in my Administrative background.
