My career spans over 30 years in human resources, recruiting, career coaching, and administrative roles.   
The Headhunters Recruitment, by far, is one of the best organizations I've ever worked.   Our team is one of a kind!   Each team member brings something to the table, and we are treated with such respect by our leadership team.  We are given the autonomy to manage our own desk, building partnerships with top-notch clients, and candidates.  
The training/onboarding is second to none, and there is always support from each other - whenever we need it.  

We are strictly virtual, with flexibility and a focus on "performance, not presence".  No one is micro-managing us, or measuring KPI's, but supporting us to achieve our goals. 

Earning potential is unlimited, and if we are ever struggling or feeling challenged in this very difficult market, our Director is there to give us a chance to talk things through. 

We have so many resources available to us, including amazing Marketing strategies, excellent talent sourcing team, and top tier administrative support.  

Even though we work from home, alone, I never feel disconnected and technology allows us to reach out whenever we need to.  We all learn from each other, and there is no cut throat or competitive approach 

We have the best Friday virtual happy hour (usually without alcohol) with our teammates, and we always have so much laughter and comaraderie!

The Headhunters is a progressive recruitment firm that offers a unique approach to finding "fit" for both candidates and clients. I was given the opportunity to build my own desk from the ground up and was supported by Sr Recruiters with business leads and mentorship. The leadership team brings a ton of valuable training and desk-side support and the provided me with excellent onboarding resources to get up and running super fast. I found during my time with the firm I noticed recruiters who are comfortable hunting for new business did very well from a commission/target standpoint. I also learned a lot about business development, client management, and negotiations. Worklife Balance is talked about often and all of the team members support flexibility and a healthy lifestyle. They also have fun perks such as victory days, where if you hit your monthly target, you get up to 12+ vacation days in a calendar year. I have very few cons as my time with the firm was very enjoyable! if you are looking to work with a fun, collaborative team that cares about your personal well-being, I highly recommend it! 

I have been with The Headhunters for over 7 years and I love everything about it! I work with top notch recruiters, all across Canada, who are talented at what they do and I have great respect for. The leadership team is very supportive and present, and marketing is always striving to keep a strong company and personal brand in the market. The training program is excellent, and we are constantly being trained on the newest and most effective recruitment methods based on the market trends and changes in the economy. I am able to work autonomously, and always have support and advice when needed. I love being a part of an organization with high ethics, values and practice what they teach. They have been very good to me, personally and professionally, and I am fiercely loyal to them. 

This place was just okay to work at.  I worked here as a recruiter and I wouldn't recommend it.  I know from personal experience there are better firms to recruit for.  They tried hard to make it a great culture but the management didn't lead by example enough to make their efforts genuine.  One of the management constantly talked openly about eventually moving on to another company.  It was super hard to take their culture seriously.  One of the other owners would talk about caring about us but would constantly forget if we had kids, dogs, etc.  Benefits were just okay.  There was great opportunity to make commission when you did well.

Working at The Headhunters has been a privilege. This job fell into my lap at the perfect time and it has helped me become more confident in myself and in my abilities. I've acquired knowledge that I will take with me into my next job and throughout my everyday life. The management team is one of the best I've ever seen and I felt extremely supported and valued as an employee. The workplace culture is uplifting and collaborative and I enjoyed working with every single one of my colleagues. I feel truly lucky that I was given the opportunity to work for this amazing company. 

In my initial meeting I was told I had a great resume and skill set - in high demand.  They sent me on one interview which was the strangest ever.  When I passed on the feed back and that i was not interested they said they had sent others there and heard the same thing...what?!  Needless to say, I did follow up calls/emails and each time was told there are several exciting things happening and that there was at least 3 jobs coming that would be perfect.  Never heard form them again, I found a job on my own.  NEVER AGAIN

I've now worked at The Headhunters for over 4 years and hope to have many more with this company. I'm constantly impressed with the leadership and culture, and my role has given me the opportunity to really broaden my experience, learn from mentors, and expand my skills. I always feel very supported by my manager and colleagues. Employee wellness, work-life balance, and mental health are given high priority, and the president treats the team with kindness and compassion. 

I am incredibly proud to say I was a part of this organization, and I would highly recommend applying for positions at The Headhunters! I was the Recruitment Assistant for 8 months and this was my first corporate job. This was a huge learning curve for me and I felt well supported by my manager, colleagues, and partner throughout my journey. Everyone was extremely kind, fun, and bright. They are a close knit team that loves to celebrate each other.

I’ve been in the recruitment industry for over 10 years and with The Headhunters for over 6 years. The people are what make this place amazing and I am continually grateful to work alongside a supportive leadership team and a collaborative group of colleagues. There is a strong focus on training, development and innovation, and I truly believe everyone is working hard behind the scenes to set us up for success.

I find the company to ignore candidates and never respond to follow up calls and emails.  They are only in it for themselves to make a commission.  They will sell you a bill of goods that they will help you find a new position but then ignore you and not reply to inquires when they have jobs posted that match your experience and qualifications.
