New management cultivates a toxic work culture and off loads many of the management duties on subordinates without any compensation. You are more likely to lose your job due to refusing to be overworked and openly disrespected, than deliberately sabotaging daily operations or exhibiting negligence in critical duties. Very few decent characters are employed there and they're actively being pushed out by new management. No opportunities of internal advancement, the job your hired to do is what you'll have until you leave. Advancement depends on your personal relationship with senior management or if you are hired externally and overqualified. 
The work is easy, management and their accomplices do their best to make it difficult to inflate their egos.

Have worked there for almost a year. Too much responsibility on each individual at a given time. Company refuses to invest in new equipment and tends to rely on cheap, old technology to get the work done. For example, despite several proposals, company does not want to buy a wet vac and insists on using mops and buckets (prolonging the time it takes to clean up any messy spills).

My advice to the company would be to put more revenue towards making employees happy and making the workplace a more efficient system.

I would come and clock in and get changed to start my shift. get orders from the office and start picking. two breaks during the shift and 30 mins lunch. Learned how to pick orders from a computer and how to safely load them in the trailers. The hardest job would be picking the orders because it was heavy lifting for the whole shift and you are always on your feet. The environment was nice and people were fun to work with and everything would get done by the end of the day.

Full time! No matter if it’s slow or not you’re still scheduled to be in. Great company just like family!

Easy moving, does get busy but not crazy

Safety is number one , stability , we are not scared not to have a job

Checking oils , evaporator , fix things .

Thomson is an exceptionally good company that stands above the rest I've worked for. There was an issue which caused extensive lay-offs amongst the new employees at one location but those who were willing to move to one of their other locations in the city were guaranteed a position, which is remarkable. The wages were just above average and the management was always considerate and respectful.

full time vs. temp workers. temp workers make more than full time employees. managers say they cant control their personal lives at home but they can control what happens in THEIR workplace. Using security cameras to spy on workers, even want to place a camera in the changeroom..illegal. you have to supply your own ppe or use previously worn from 10+ people before you even boots. People steal product and they blame you.

It really depends on the location are working out of.

Nobody knows what they are doing.

Everything is done last minute, and if something goes wrong you get blamed for it.

Nobody works as a team at thomson, they all like to blame everyone else.

The most enjoyable part of my job was everyday I left to go home at the end of the shift.

Shop staff that work are okay. One office staff is very untrustworthy. If you not liked you are gone. Very stressful. So If you love stress, getting randomly yelled at, negative gossiping to the owners from their favorite and laziest staff? This place is for you. It used to be a great place to learn, sad.
