I had a great experience working there and had the honor of getting that experience from them on a professional level....never had any bad days. They had great staff andthe right environment for a work place . It was n we ver a job for me there as I enjoyed doing my part at the company. I had fun and would love to work there again if they gave me another opportunity. They had great set up to produce the quality trusses they promised and good supervision and support system to all employees. All was treated and with great respect and basically there emplyees like gold. All produce that was build was inspected and made to perfection . They have a good reputation they maintain by hard work and dedicated Formans and supervisors. I would recommend this job for anyone looking for a full-time job. I enjoyed the full season while I was employed there. Only bad thing I would say for myself anyways was the pay was a little too low for the amount of produce we were expected to put out but over time I feel they would raise the  payrates as construction in the city is in demand in this field.

They expect you to work way too hard for way to little, no work/life balance, management always breathing down your neck to work harder, made some good buddies working here but you aren't allowed to talk when working with a crew, and I've been yelled at to work harder when simply grabbing a drink as it's hot in the building

I learned lots of things from working here about the importance of accuracy, speed, and  hard work from working here. The management is all great, and the culture is excellent. The hardest part of the job is fixing your mistakes but it’s not that bad. The most enjoyable part is the people, they have an incredible crew there.

There are always problems occurring between shifts and when something gets said to management, it usually takes about three weeks for them to fix it and when they do fix it, it lasts for a week. Supervisors are not approachable and they do not show you how to make things better, they just point out that you are wrong.

Not alot of incentive to grow and succeed with this company. Management is very condescending towards workers and cheats them out of pay raises when minimum wage increased. It went up by 2 dollars from 13 to 15 dollars and our wages only increased by 1 dollar.

After a year working at another truss plant through a temp agency, I was told that they would not hire outside of the temp agency. I was than hired to Timberfield, and after my 3 month probationary, was hired on full time and was running my own crew. Staff were excellent and accommodating.

This is a a very Unsafe workplace .There are no health benefits but there is a incentive to work that pays you an extra 4 hours after working a full week without being late or absent . That's the only benefit . The amount of work isn't worth the pay .

The job itself is fine , the coworkers are the only thing that makes it worth it 

i though I’d be here 10 years 
I’m thinking more along the lines of this being my final year (in the 6th)


Love to work there, 6 great years very respectful management and supervisors. Lots of learning and team work. Great opportunity for young workers to grab experience.
