Being part of a growing, local, successful tech company is great!  There is a lot of freedom (but also responsibility) that is afforded to each employee at TouchBistro in terms of testing out initiatives and seeing what sticks.  The most important thing is the company gives you the chance to express and grow your ideas and you really take ownership of your role.  It is a company made up of individually-talented individuals who are very collaborative and always thinking of how their work impacts other stakeholders.  As with any growing company, sometimes it is difficult to stay abreast what the other departments are up to, so it helps to be curious.  From employee appreciation day, to Ritual Fridays to snack Wednesdays and Friday socials - we play hard but we also have fun!  The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to see how the seeds I plant in the company help move the needle forward.  The hardest part of the job is that because we are hiring new people all the time, we are all "testing" our strategies, a lot of us for the first time so there's no measuring stick to use as a sounding board - but it's also very exciting and means you can carve out your own path!

When I started here, it was just ok. But as the company grew, it just got a lot worse. Top performing sales people and devs were treated well, others not so much. It's a glorified call center where the salespeople oversell and under deliver and then by the time support speaks to the customer, they are already aggravated. If a customer makes a complaint against you, management will take their side without listening to the call, not considering that the customer was angry about their experience before they even spoke with you, and are using you as a scapegoat to get some special treatment. They will expect you to come in early unpaid and will tell you you're late if you only show up 10 minutes early instead of 15. There is pressure to stay late unpaid as well. If you have something important to do after work and a call goes long, tough luck. You have to stay until whatever easily preventable emergency is fixed. Culture is toxic, colleagues and managers act like your friend but then gossip about you and cross personal boundaries. Pay was really bad.

TouchBistro is a great company! The product is phenomenal and I would always recommend it to restaurateurs. Unfortunately, in my department, there seems to be a focus on being social over how well you do at your job. Doing the job itself is rewarding as you are helping and consulting restaurateurs around the world. The difficulties are repetitive work, lack of advancement and a pay that is not quite competitive for the role. Management in other departments are amazing from what I can see and truly take an interest in their employees. The culture of our particular department lacks this and could benefit greatly from adopting some of the other Managers styles.

The outbound team is relatively new, and there are some growing pains with joining the team. Once they iron it out, I’m sure it can be a great place to work. 

Like any sales job your numbers are the most important monthly goal. Forecasting accuracy is a close second in order of importance. 

Training is ongoing and very well done. I do find that the top performing reps don’t actually follow they’re training guidelines to selling their product.

Good company, nice team to work with! They definitely care about their staff, although obviously favor the Sales team over everyone else and that is very noticeable. Will promise you that you can move up to other departments and encourage shadowing, however when you ask to shadow a team NOTHING will EVER come from that.

Yeah! I would never work here again such a toxic work environment there aren’t equal opportunities it’s who is well liked, has a connection with anyone in supervision who gets promoted even if they don’t meet targets. Stay away! 

management does not respect or value workers, and it has become a revolving door for employees. They have given most employees huge paycuts, and if someone complains they terminate them making up excuses. do yourself a favor and stay away from this company, as their future is not a good one 

I've been working here for a little over a year, and so far I absolutely love the job.
This is great for people who don't mind customer interactions, and it's fast paced so you'll always have something to do.

Some managers are not professionals.  They have to understand how to run a company.  No future in places like this....they do not listen advice from employees. Low salary

Was hired in a middle of the pandemic. Very short period of working with a great team who focuses on improving services and enjoying the work culture. All i wish is to join such a wonderful group of people again and grow with the company.
