I have never worked at a restuarant before and they had me on training for a week but the staff who trained me was completely useless. They got annoyed when I had questions and did not really want to help me. Also managers make alot of broken promises. They are very unorganized and they did not pay me for all my hours. 4 weeks later I asked for my pay stubs and they took forever to give it to me, when I finally got it, they payed me for my missing hours. So if you decide to work there ask for you pay stubs from the beginning. You get free staff meals but only if you work 6 hours and more and 90% of my shifts was vooked for 5 hours so that I wouldn't get the staff meal.

Worst place I've ever worked at!!!!! Management needs improvement. Do you need a day off or do you need to make availabilaity changes? nope they don't allow.. scheduling is slow and not consistent. Restaurant manager is egotistical and micro-manage everyone. They are all fake nice and watching employees like hawks.. I have never been talked down by someone of authority in such disrespectful unprofesional matter! Do not expect good training eithr its horrible. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. No one deserves to work under these people and get belittled

This has to be the worst place I’ve ever worked. The managers are extremely toxic and treat staff like a doormat. I’ve never been so belittled and disrespected in any job like I have at this one. Management needs to reevaluate how they treat their staff and learn how to have some basic human kindness when dealing with staff. On server so occasions I’ve whiteness staff being yelled at publicly by managers resulting in staff crying. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT WORK HERE. Nothing is worth being treated the way we are. 

Great team environment , challenging -awesome food and service ,1of the  best restaurant settings with summer patio over looking the greens, exclusive and private , members only .  The whole house is 1 great team with friendly associates .
Awesome kitchen setting, great culture good team work environment to represent in a professional manner.
You can create and  present your personal cuisine upon members request . Awesome chef and great food -very cooperative management .

I worked for the Vancouver Golf Club for 1.5 years as the Executive Chef.  This was a great private club with a busy golf season.  They also had a vibrant banquet business when the golf season was in its off season.  There was a strong management team that did a great job in overseeing the club.  

I would highly recommend this company as a great place to work.  It's a beautiful facility and friendly membership.  

Most toxic work environment I've ever seen. Management puts more stress on staff than necessary and excessively micromanages employees. You don't get any breaks for an 8 hour shift. Have to start at 5am, work every weekend, and only get 35 hours a week. One pay raise after working two years. Socializing between staff is not allowed.

I would say that the regular day had a lot of work to be accomplished. I learned to manage time, stress and try to be productive at the same time, by utilizing my organization skills. Had a very cooperative co-workers and the most enjoyable part of the job was meeting deadlines.

Not a happy working environment. Let go people before their 3 months often to save themselves the hastle of having to pay Full wages or Benefits Or having to give you a real reason why they let you go. No one wants to train you they are not welcoming to new staff. Horrible place to work. 

The Vancouver Golf Club gave me my first job and I couldn't be happier with what they brought to the table. The hours were flexible, great relationship between co-workers and management, and fair pay for the amount of work we do.

It was more of a team based work rather than individual. It was a very good learning experience for me as regards to work load and also working with people having + 10 years experience.
