I have always been pleased with my employment at Viana Dental. I have worked at both the White Oaks office and the Komoka office. Dr. Viana offers very competitive compensation rates, benefits, learning opportunities, and even bonuses. Dr. Viana is very dedicated to the patients and offices, and strives to offer the most advanced treatment options. He always pushes me to do my best, is supportive in more ways than just being an employer, and I always feel my opinion matters. Although the offices are very fast paced, the main focus of the office is teamwork and everyone strives to work together for the overall benefit of the patients. Dr. Viana has office meetings to ensure the team is on the same page, and pre-Covid, we would have team building days where we got to go out and do something fun! If you’re looking for an office that will challenge you to be the best version of yourself while having very competitive compensation, Viana Dental is the office for you! 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I’ve had a great experience working at Viana Dental as a dental assistant. The team is incredibly supportive, friendly, and always willing to help each other out. From day one, I felt welcomed, and over time it has truly come to feel like a family rather than just a workplace. The positive environment and strong teamwork make a big difference in both patient care and day-to-day work. I’m really grateful to be part of such a kind and encouraging team.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Really good. Viana dental has employees who are really good at their job but also know how to have fun while doing it.

I’ve been at Viana Dental White Oaks for 4 years and have always enjoyed working there. It is super fast paced which may not be for everyone, but I absolutely love it. My Viana team are all very professional and great people to work with everyday. I have created the most amazing relationships with both my coworkers and the patients. The compensation is the absolute best that I’ve come across in the city, plus there are so many incentive and bonus opportunities. I’ve always felt very appreciated working for Viana Dental. There are many opportunities to grow and learn a variety of different skills. I highly recommend working here, if ever presented with the opportunity. 

If you want a life outside of work this job is not for you.  If you don't care then you will be a good fit.

PROS: Office has great pay, lots of learning opportunities, benefits and bonuses.

CONS: Ever changing staff which makes it impossible for the entire team to work together.  Complicated systems which are always updating---good on improvement but no one is ever on the same page.  Expected to not only work all your regular scheduled hours, but always running behind so you will stay late almost every single day with no appreciation or 2nd thought.  They do not value their work/life balance so do not expect them to value yours.

He cares deeply for the patients he treats, never doubted a treatment plan he handed off to me to present to the patient. He offers a lot of paid training with either himself or coaches to ensure that you are supported in your role. He really did help me grow both professionally and personally - the only reason I left is I decided I wanted a career change. The only negative I can point out is the evening to morning shifts can be rough. -

My job at Viana Dental has been an enjoyable one over the past 3.5 years. I am compensated fairly for the work that I do and feel that I am a valued member of the Viana team. The whole office works together to try and make sure the schedule runs on time as much as possible on a daily basis. You certainly can't be afraid to work at a fast pace but looking at this from a personal challenge perspective is how I've always seen this aspect of the day to day operations. I've always gotten along with the other staff that works here and couldn't ask for a better group of co-workers. 

Great opportunities to grow in this role. Upward advancement possible. Cross training provides the team with the ability to really help each other out and work together during busy times. Leadership team is invested in helping you improve with coaching, paid one on one training, online training and support. Culture has the team communicating daily in huddles and creating comradierie. Fun things in the office include, lunches, incentives, contests, games, team nights out. 

My experience at Viana Dental has been great! I have worked at both locations and it’s been great and fun place to work at. Fast paced environment where everyone works together to make sure our patients receive the best care. Dr Viana truly is a great person and he has the best team. Dr Viana give their employees so much opportunities whether you have years of experience or you're fresh out of school. Dr. Viana strives to give his staff and his patients the best positive experience and care. I am very thankful to work at Viana Dental.

Being a part of the Viana Dental team has really helped me grow as a person. There are many learning opportutities of many different types. It feels like everyone wants to help each other succeed. There are a lot of challenges to aim to achieve and an amazing amount of bonuses if you work hard any try your best! They do a lot to help us feel like a team!

Viana Dental's team is one of the most fun, exciting and hardworking teams out there. The workplace is incredible and the chemistry between the team really makes it feel like a family. Patients are treated with pristine care from our friendly and hardworking dentists and hygienists and everyone leaves with a smile. I guess that's why happiness starts with a smile at Viana Dental.
