I was working 5 hours a day at Victoria Inn. i used to clean the hotel rooms , hallway and other assigned job . ! learned to be more productive and creative for all the jobs that they assigned me to do, my speed in working is developed, The management are a good team ,when you had a concerns they listen to you and give a solution on it as soon as they can. I had a good working relationships with my co workers. The hardest part on may job is having a few hours of working and yet no health benefits at all,and may workplace distance. The most enjoyable part on my working experience is that i enhanced my skills and abilities which i know it could help me a lot to be more productive on my next job .

What is the best part of working at the company?
Terrible place to work no communication, 24/7 on call and the building equipment is 40 years old and everything is breaking down. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything is stressful, no communication and everything is maintenance fault. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I didn't like nothing being on call 24/7 I won't miss.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful stress stress complaints and nobody is happy to work here.

A typical day at work began at 8:00 am where I would proceed to the restaurant and seat and greet customers, clean tables, set up reservations and assist management or customers with any concerns.

Salary is very good including gratuities, and being unionized and is a very positive asset. Can be very easygoing and having a staff meal daily is amazing, although the food is alright. Only con would be the management has a relatively high turnover rate and are constantly micro-managing. The workload can sometimes be very rough and the place is a tiny bit gloomy sometimes.

awesome and excellent mangers, i'm so glad to be working there , i didn't have any experience as a banquet server , but they accepted me and trained me , that's one of the best part of Victoria Inn hotel , after training you become so professional with everything its very amazing.

I have been in the restaurant industry a long time. This is my favorite so far. Your not overworked or under payed in my opinion. They are flexible with their scheduling, and are great people to work with.

Friendly staff and management you can be open with. Hardest part of the job would be service times for large events when lifting trays full of food as well as clearing food in a timely manner. Otherwise it is a very easy going job I would recommend to anyone who enjoys working with people.

Serving guest providing a high quality of service and food. I find it hard working as a server since carrying trays was a lot heavy than I expected. The hardest part of the job is standing for hours carrying trays and long hours of set up depends on the area that the guest rented.

Be suspicious be very suspicious because management is not out there to support you. Take this job only if you really love to be interfered with especially if you’re heterosexual.

Management was abysmal - no professionalism and the pay was a joke. Worked for longer than 8 hours but only got paid for 8, it was always very slow and 90% of the customer base were incredibly rude. Servers are making a lot more than management.
