An average job for an average person. The pay is low and the work is mundane. You'll get promoted easily if you have a nice figure, compared to an intelligent understanding of the material you're given. This is evidenced by the three or four people I’ve seen get promoted before others who have been there longer.

The company and position had no personality. You come in, work for eight hours, play this or that game then get a 300 dollar cheque at the end of the week. 

You are expected to conform, not say any jokes and everyone on your team is out to make you look bad so they get promoted after the relentless 5 year battle to get noticed by EA.

They tell you how you should talk, act, think and work while there, which is fine, granted it's on company time but it's not the best attitude for people to want to advance.

EA staff itself treat you like second class citizens.  If you even speak up during a meeting they look at you like an outcast. We were allowed to partake in the Friday beer days until someone decided to steal something, then this sliver of equality was stopped faster than lighting strikes.

Assignment NB Coating a contract month to month job security none  however fellow co-worker vary supportive. I am self starter vary little supervision. Working with client day to day operations providing support on the paint product we provide and providing KPI and data to the client and conducting inventory weekly.

The hardest part of the job is learning the process of the color theory and identifying and finding the root cause and presenting a solution to the client.

The most enjoyable part of the job is having the opportunity to learn new skills and hands on working with paint having a understanding and how it is applied to the cars and bumpers.

Management is good - trusting and supportive. Good professional team to work with. Remote work available to work from home. A typical day at work is a Morning meeting regarding open positions to support, followed by Qualification of open roles, then calling Candidates for the roles, Submitting candidates and working with Program Managers on candidate status applications, etc to coordinate interviews/ offers. Also, I work with our Payroll team to deliver Employee information for onboarding and payroll purposes and I coordinate the background check and Reference check process.

My paychecks were never the same week to week, even through I worked the same hours the checks would be hundreds of dollars difference. I would receive random checks in the mail at times and when I asked about the pay I was never given a definitive answer. When the job ended, it took them a MONTH to give me my final paycheck and even that check was the incorrect amount. It was 2 months later I'm finally receiving the corrected amount.
 I asked the accounting manager in 3 separate emails what was going on, she responded to only one of the emails and was rude and unprofessional. My advice would be to never accept a position with this company!

In my previous position as a Benefits Verification Specialist at Lash Group, I verified insurance benefits by calling payors to record eligibility for a procedure. I learned the different payor information, copays for the patient, and other cost share information. My co-workers were the typical co-workers. Our training was short, so at time the job was a challenge to perform to the best of my ablility with the knowlede I learned. The most enjoyable part of the job was Lash Group took care of their seasonal employees by providing lunches and other things we needed.

If accepting a job as Tester, there will be no stability on schedule and the salary seems inconsistently rewarded. 

For some projects, I was aware of my next day schedule just by en email the late night before, day by day. 

Human Resources was never available, the people get arrogant and not very helpful, paid minimum wages. 

Lead Testers are disorganized, you may not know what tasks are expected. Not a place for advancement in your career. There may be better companies in this field to be employed.

- In Schneider Electric , the day usually has a lot of activity including technical meeting internally and with clients , working in engineering software in my field as automation engineer ( PLC - SCADA - Network communications)
- Working in a multinational company affected highly in my mentality with the foreign clients better than before  , also increase my communication skills and public relations.
-the hardest part of the job is that you have to be in fully concentration all the time to keep trusted and deserve the appreciation from the management

Wonderful people to work with. Lots of work to do. Pay is not great, but OK. Quality of Benefits have been cut over the years. Still have vacation and sick leave and 401K benefits, so that is good. 

Company leadership has been in disarray over many years, but new leadership is poised to turn that around and bring back profitability. Lost a lot of loyal employees, so those left are waiting to see the turnaround.

Volt is an illegal wage theft company. They help companies miscategorize full time workers as part time and keep them in wage slavery. They are the embodiment of the broken North American work culture. Well, sadly, they are just one sinister agent in it.

Working full time at Volt, I could not afford to pay basic bills. Any surprise expense was just... adorable and bills fell behind further. I have no dependants, just rent and basics.

I was paid minimum wage to do a skilled technical job.

I was a temporary video game tester for Volt in Vancouver working on a title for two weeks before heading to college. Shift starts around 7 am with a lunch break in the middle then ending around 3 to 4 pm. Sometimes we pick up more hours to get some overtime which is plus.

Although I have a night job very close to home, I hope to work with Volt again for video game testing to boost up my work skills again as well as maintaining a balanced work life.
