Waymarc was a fun place to work at especially with the General Manager who initially hired me.

I learned a lot about the nature of the business and the process. Learned a lot about structural engineering and tools that i once had no i idea about.

Management when I first started was great. Our general manager (install Manager) at the time was really awesome. cared about his employees.

Hardest Part of the job would probably be dealing with customers who didn't know exactly what they wanted. This could then very well mess up execution on our side.

the most enjoyable part was that when given tasks you could work independently. Out of town work and Overtime were very good perks of Waymarc as well. 

NEW MANAGEMENT WAS HORRIBLE. Did not care for employees. Never established a relationship with Installers and Lead Hands which made it very difficult to work during the end of my tenure. Communication is Key.

Just don’t even bother. Save yourself the grief and money. You will sacrifice your home life to make your bosses money so they can take fancy vacations and you will never be compensated financially. The other thing is they actually train their employees to do personality assessments on people to gauge what kind of personality type they are in order to better sell them the products. They don’t care if the customer is really getting what they need as long as you SELL SELL SELL! What’s worse is the employees don’t even know what they’re talking about and most of them aren’t certified to be selling the stuff they sell!

new locations and great customers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The uncertanty of whether you were going to get canned and the horrible management.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
everyone for themselves attitude and everyone is expendable mentality.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
having to show up for work earlly just to wait for directions of what where you were going, getting new locations for building/installing pallet racking / cantelievers, possible mezzanines. go home when they said the day was over.

When you start at this company from interview process to at least a year, they are wonderful.  No matter how hard you work, the hours put in you are never good enough.  So many closed door meetings, information is never shared.  You dont know who to trust if you need to talk to someone privately as the whole office finds out about it.  It is very hard to work under these circumstance. and th

Basically full project management from start to finish. Find the client, sell the product, work out the details with the design department, get the final design drawings approved, order the product, work out the logistics, coordinate with the installation department, follow up with the client.

In this tight economy it was difficult to get full time hours though management showed a genuine concern for me throughout my final weeks. As with many businesses, the guys at the top are demanding and at a point missed some suggestions to improve productivity.

This company has poor management and organization. You’ll show up to job sites looking like fools because the coordinator doesn’t confirm with customers if product is there. Paycheques were wrong multiple times and had to fight to get them to fix is accordingly. Installers are good, fun, and easy people to get along with. 

A typical day would include answering phone calls, talking with customers, designing storage solutions that meet or exceed the clients expectations.  I learned to be more confidant and public speaking.

They mess around with when customers are invoiced to bump commissions to the next month so you never really get paid for your sales. You kind of pay to work there.

Poor communication and lie about things, honestly I don’t know why but they hire and fire people other than a few seems regular! No structure no way of seeing your hours it’s so unprofessional and unorganized!
