Cold telemarketing. If you don't like it, you probably won't survive unless you're not going for a sales position. 

The culture is all about motivation and high energy. The morning meetings are filled with "boiler room" type of encouragement and the incentives are good enough to get you motivated week after week. Every month is a new month and you will need to prove your worth by hitting targets. Base pay is somewhat low so if you're not hitting your key performance indicator targets, you will not make much money. Expect to work about 8-10+ hours a day plus some weekends if you want to do well/progress through the ranks. You can progress fairly quickly to make more money if you put in the effort, energy, and time.

The best part about this job is the people you'll work with. They are some of the most positive individuals and have lots of experience to help you on your journey to and through leadership. The upper management is also great as they care about the development of their people.

Great place to work if you are young and are looking to build a career in sales/business.

You will enjoy the motivational talks and the fun times they do during before work or afterwards. 

However, the truth is that unless you do well here you will not have a good pay. Toronto is expensive and having a 30k or 35k base isn't going work for that long. 

Commission wise if you are within the top 5% meaning their best then you'll have decent pay. So be prepared to work hard and long hours.

I would recommend this job if you're living with your parents or you are sharing your place with roommates with their pay. The turn over rate was very high which is expected because of Toronto prices. You will see people come and go like the wind.

Pros: Great Sales Training, I would definitely focus on learning their strategies. Also gives you a motivational mindset. 

Cons: Low pay unless you are one of their best.

If you're a sales killer, focus on your sales. Advancement is attractive at this company, but the real fruit of working here is the huge commission checks. Management will breathe down your neck if you don't perform, and they'll do the same if you do perform. So if you're looking to advance, tread carefully as office politics are rampant at this company. You will otherwise meet some amazing people and have a great time making sales. But be prepared to kiss your free time goodbye. Webware wants you to give your blood, sweat, and tears--this is not a 9-5. Don't get caught up in the drama, play nice with management, make your sales, set up your pipeline so you can go home at a reasonable hour and this might be the best sales job you could get.

The job requires you to generate almost all of your leads through cold calls, Prospecting new clients and engaging with the goal of showing a demonstration of the online marketing platform. You conduct the demos with said client with the goal to sell. The job requires a high internal motivation as the majority of prospective clients have been approached with the same platform from competitors. The culture is a start-up one with perks and compensation based on performance. Most enjoyable part of the job was the people and the environment.

If you're able to perform extremely well you're highly rewarded and there's plenty of room for advancement.

You get out what you put in, there's lots of resources to help you grow, and there's and people who want to see you succeed.

Managers and colleagues alike are attentive, knowledgeable, and very approachable. The company reacts well to feedback and is highly adaptable.

Confidence goes a long way here.

Currently working here, been loving it since day one. Everyone is approachable from the higher ups to your managers. They bring out the best in you. I couldn't say the same in any other sales company/environment where everyone is trying to be one step ahead of you. Even managers from other teams try and help you out. The support the management provides is incredible. They celebrate your small wins just like they celebrate big ones. The only thing they ever ask from you is your effort, attitude, and energy. 

So after shadowing someone canvassing, this is not what you'd expect from cold calls of a company proud of their product or service. 

If you are in sales and have some integrity, this will not be in your alley. Being embarrassed to mention your company name during a voice mail, or expecting results without a script dedicated to results is not a good method. 

I was very excited during the interview process but the shadow was enough to see a basic formula lacking fundamentals. 

Great company and great people who work there. Amazing to be apart of the beginning of something new. Co workers and staff were all amazing to work with. 
Con's being brand new still working out the kinks of sales process and figure out what angle work with which prospects.
 Most enjoyable part and the endless incentives that are given and fun relaxed work environment.

This company is AMAZING! They have a proven structures approach, provide consistent training, the culture is phenomenal, the commissions are uncapped and everyone is friendly and truly cares about your success. If you are willing to work hard, have a great attitude and learn this is the place for you! 

Had to make Outbound cold calls using a script provided by the company. The script is terrible, and it does not work. The company was not professional.
