The work environment at this organization is highly toxic, primarily due to a severe disconnect between the organization's stated mission, values, and the behavior exhibited by its leadership. While management frequently emphasizes the importance of core values such as integrity, excellence, and service, these principles are not reflected in their actions or decision-making processes.

Rather than focusing on the quality of service provided to individuals, the organization appears primarily driven by financial gain, with little regard for the well-being of those they are meant to support. The emphasis on profit is evident in the daily operations and organizational priorities, which detract from the organization's supposed mission.

Furthermore, employees who are committed to their work and genuinely care about the individuals they support are subjected to bullying and harassment—often from both colleagues and management. This toxic culture has created a hostile environment that undermines morale, reduces employee retention, and damages the organization's ability to provide high-quality care.

Given these ongoing issues, I highly discourage anyone from pursuing employment or engaging with this organization. It is clear that the leadership is not committed to fostering a positive, ethical, or supportive work culture.

A typical day at work would be long at times. I never really learned a whole lot due to not every really experienceing other aspects too the job aside from residential care. I had a lot of trouble with managment due the fact they always jumped to conclusions and they did really every listen to your side. They never recognized your input or the extra little things you would do to at least advance in the agency. I did supervisor work but only recieved pay for residential work.... Co workers were great. The hardest part of the job was working long hours and not getting paid for them. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people I supported.

I enjoyed working with the Residents and co-workers, I found working with Management to be difficult at times due to their availability.

The hardest part of the job was to be able to say "no" to additional shifts/responsibility or else you would be consumed and have little time for your personal life.

The most enjoybable part of the job(s) was to turn a house around whether it was due to behavioral issues or repair/maintenance

punctuality log in and cheerfully greetings to residents , review communications book,engage resident and prepare for day's programme

This isnt a job for someone looking to get a head. They over work you and treat you like a machine. If you ever go out of your way and go the extra mile they expect it all the time. I found a lot of the staff could get away with a lot and they wouldnt do anything about it because they were short staffed. They didn't care about how the residents were treated as they didnt carr that some staff were treating them as children. Management has major communication issues .

The company used to be a great place to work when the founders were working. After the first CEO passed away, and the older senior management retired, the new management is not aware what is going on in the residential group homes. The company doesn't care about the people they are supposed to provide support. They just fill the shift.

The team work on duty  and respect given by the managerial  staff.

No  stress because issues are resolved on time

Friendly environment  and support for employees through   
in-house  trainings 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?

Doing laundry, cooking ,bathing  individuals  and  shopping

Don't be a hard worker in this company for they will never value you. They keep on saying mission and values but they are not practicing it. Management uses their power and position and twisted the policy especially the director of service. In group homes. A lot of percentage of staff are lazy doing nothing. Good staff is the one always left this agency. If you try to advocate and speak prepare you will be in trouble and the issue will become on you.

Supportive and friendly supervisors and coordinators. Job is not hard. If you feel accomplished by making a difference with the individuals that you support, this is the job for you. It pays little, but it’s a stable and an acceptable job.No fear of being laid off from work. We are unionized and has good medical/dental insurance for full time workers. I will continue working here.

A typical day at work is either taking clients out for their daily activities and taking them out for coffee and making supper for them.Learned how to be patient with clients and work as a team with other staff.The management is understanding and are at the top of their game.Work place culture iis great mutual respect and care.
