A typical day at the worldlynx wireless store i am currently working for would involve going into the office, counting out the till and then setting up new merchandise for sales or new pricing. After which we focus on sales as well as delivering a highly satisfying customer experience. We have a great team here who and we have a great time working together. Management support is fantastic and gives us all of the tools of which we need to do our jobs appropriately and effectively to meet out targets. There really isn't a most enjoyable part of the day as we all have a of fun together just while working, although the hardest part of the job is always dealing with irate customers. Luckily I excel at deescalating situations without losing my cool,although it is still the most difficult part of the job.

Underpaid and Overworked. The Manager and District Manager make promises to their staff to keep them and never follow through with anything that they say.
Working there, no one stayed for more than 2-3 months. The training of new staff is unorganized and put directly onto the staff that have been their the longest while the manager does nothing.

The job was very satisfying with the manager I began working with. After a new manager was hired, the entire job environment and sustainability of the company in Sarnia was absolutely horrible. She was uneducated, had no idea how to run a store, and only did things when it would benefit her.

For the most part the company was good to work for,   but they don't have enough over sight on managers. As long as the money was being made,  our boss had free reign to treat us poorly (which he did with gusto), and the few people that spoke up had their hours cut to 3 a week until they eventually quit.

Upper management changes every 6 months.. Hard place to advance your career.. When hiring they speak about promoting from within... It isn't the case....Like any business there are a few good people that work here but are unable to change the culture

This is an old boys club filled with people living in a bubble culture. They are a RETAILER for Bell but act as if they have all encompassing power over the mobile phone business. They were also sold to Bell meaning layoffs are coming.

I dont want to be degrading towards this company, and due to legal proceedings, will not. 
This company was not a good one to work for, and their upper management was quite dismissive.

I very much enjoyed working there. I had my own desk, and became very comfortable with the regulars. I learned a lot and the hours were great as well. If given the chance I would go back.

Totally sales driven but still able to have a bit of fun while working. Much of the staff both store locations and corporate are on first name basis. Easy company to start working for.  Results oriented.

Supportive and success oriented management and ample support create a great environment for early sales talent to hone their abilities. Highly recommended!!
