What is the best part of working at the company?
Job was demanding, no 2 days ever a like and all my co workers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Alot of overtime unpaid and short staffing.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Busy and fun environment. Respectful, safety orientated, diverse staff.  Very fast paced shifts.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy, filling reports, getting trailers teady for crossing the border, supplying drivers with border documents, tracking loading trailers, helping staff, customers  CN clerks, internal and external customers with questions and problems.

Very toxic environment and stubborn management

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with people. They one one way in front of you and different when your not around

Toxic / bad management / long hours 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Coming and printing BOL and making sure my bosses demands are met within my shift

This was a great place to work at. Everyone is very helpful, kind and understanding. Very chill and open environment. I received lots of amazing opportunities working at YRC and have made some life long friendships. I always looked forward going into work and seeing what the day would bring. I highly recommend working at YRC if you want a fast paced, fun, chill, laid back career. 

Do not work for this company. The management is awful, the training is despicable and the work environment is very toxic. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. There should be a total management overhaul in this office. They only care about certain people in the office the rest your dispensable. Again avoid this job altogether 

Honestly, it is not  a good company for working as a class one truck driver because of unfair payment and driving with old tractors. All tractors and equipments are too old and working with them is not safe and comfortable.

Personally, in my time here I had no issues other than the low pay and physical heaviness of the work, only quit to take a job closer to home.

Picked orders individually or by the skid load to be loaded for the drivers to make their deliveries. Unfortunately the place is out of business now

Fast paced environment. Micromanagement was most times overbearing as they insisted on running the operation by computer modelling numbers that never considered actual delays or stem times or worker abilities. Inbound load damage was high as they wanted as much freight loaded as possible. 

The company went into bankruptcy ! Which was to bad as they were fair with there drivers. Good to work for they didn’t have single driving routes unfortunately.

Always had a great boss to work with. Drivers for the most part were great and easy to get along with. Unfortunately the company went bankrupt, otherwise I would remain working here for many years to come

Trucks are old and rough
Terminals are old and dirty
Constantly damaged incoming freight and management does nothing to address the problem
