Overall, the staff-at-large are very welcoming and pleasant to work with. However, senior management, along with the CEO, are passive-aggressive and micromanaging: the former seem to be most preoccupied with securing their place in upper-level employment so as to avoid the prospect of becoming unseeded by their underlings. The latter is initially charming, but eventually becomes overbearing.

At the beginning, there is a lot of cold-calling in lieu of research. Depending on your sleep cycle, the hours can be abysmal, as you will need to adjust your schedule for the international clients/prospects in varying time zones. 

I advise both caution and a high-degree of discernment before applying or accepting a position here. Both my colleague and I have left since and have obtained gainful employment elsewhere. Unless you are prepared to play politics with the toxic trio of their ranks, I recommend to try your lot elsewhere.

You’ll receive a lot of guidance from your coworkers, which helps you build confidence in your skills and grow professionally.

The salary is slightly below the industry average, and the benefits are fairly standard, nothing particularly outstanding. One of the downsides is the limited flexibility for working from home, which can be challenging for those who value remote work options. Additionally, the nature of the industry can sometimes feel a bit repetitive or monotonous.

That said, iData is still a great place to gain experience, learn how to work in a structured research environment, and take your first steps in the professional world. I would recommend it to anyone at the beginning of their career who is looking for a solid foundation and a positive team culture.

The management all made it incredibly easy to begin working in this position, but the work itself was not something I enjoyed doing. Writing the reports was okay, but cold calling people all over the world can be really draining and difficult when you can't find good information sources. That being said, the managers were always there to help.

This is a good place to get started right out of college/university, it just wasn't for me.

Horrible company to work for. It was a extremely stressful work environment with daily Micromanaging and zero training. Very Poor management. Poor pay. It’s a telemarketing job. Don’t waste your time. I worked for them for 2 weeks and they expect you to bring in sales from day 3 with zero training. The hours are set and expected to work Monday- Friday 8:30-5pm without paying your for 8:30-9am or even lunch break 

I've had a good experience working at iData. In terms of training and mentorship - the personnel provide patience and a wealth of knowledge to guide you through to where you need to be to perform tasks.

The people overall are friendly, and encouraging - and there is a notable effort for employee recognition for tasks big and small.

The position was pretty good, they give you a clear timeline of what you should do for each project. The co-workers were really great and everyone in the office was very helpful. I just had issues with the cold calling aspect of the position and the overnight shifts for projects on Europe or Asia.

It feels like a slave labor sweatshop.  The hours you are required to work to earn the 40k a year really have you at perhaps 13 dollars an hour.

It could lead to other jobs, however the management is a nightmare.

You will gain valuable experience, and your co-slaves are all delightful, bright, young worker bees.

Working at this company has been a pleasure, mainly due to the smart and supportive colleagues. It provides the opportunity to explore the market, and the flexibility in work hours adds to the convenience. Plus, autonomy make it an ideal workplace.
