I worked here for 5 months and was let go due to ‘operational changes,’ despite having no performance related issues.

The role I was hired for was described as front facing and patient focused. patient comes first. but over time it shifted heavily toward back-hand administrative duties in addition to managing a high volume of phone calls, patient check-ins, and client requests. These tasks were often expected within strict timeframes, including middle of the day deadlines which made the workload difficult to manage as a single staff member.

There was little support or adjustment in staffing despite the increasing demands, and concerns about workload were not meaningfully addressed. Pay also did not reflect the expanded responsibilities.

Many patients also expressed frustration regarding management, they see how we’ve been treated and constantly overlooked by them. 

After I was let go, I was told internally that patients and coworkers were being told that i willingly ‘left,’ which did not accurately reflect the circumstances of my departure. While coworkers and patients were genuinely kind and supportive, the overall management communication and workload structure were concerning

They value team work, communication and provide constructive feedback. iScope has a multidisciplinary team from Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Emergency Physicians, Vestibular Therapists', Occupational Therapists, Counselors, Kinesiologist, Optometrist, Vision Therapists and many more that aim to provide the highest quality of care to all patients and they help their employees grow and self improve. This is especially important for new grads as their is always mentorship opportunities and continuing education funds available.

In this fast paced environment, I am happy to have the support and encouragement of my entire team.  We are blessed to have so many dedicated professionals from neuro-surgeons to PTs, counselors, neuro-optometrist, vision therapists, OTA's, PTA's, kinesiologists, and a respiratory therapist.  This environment supports me in being the best OT I can be for my patients.  I enjoy walking down the hallway in the office and being able to chat with my colleagues in order to progress my patient's rehab process more efficiently than any other workplace I have worked in previously.

Honestly nothing, just the people with you are amazing but the management is really pathetic. Never apply to this place

EVERYTHING
The management is so bad that it breaks your back to work for this company and they leave you so stressed mentally

Very stressful and very annoying

Very frustrating and tiresome

The day at iScope begins with a goal and ends with endless learning and motivation to achieve the goal. While the workplace is fast paced the supportive multidisciplinary team members are the boosting factors in making things feasible and successful. Friendly environment and energetic teammates. I am glad to be part of this awesome team and management. 

iScope is an amazing multidisciplinary clinic to work for! The team of physicians and health care professionals are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Great team oriented staff to work with that will help individuals grow in each of their roles. A typical work day can be fast paced and quite busy. Its great to know I am working with such a great team at iScope that are helping patients improve their symptoms!

I am proud to be part of growing team that excel in their own fields and how the collaborative team efforts are funneled into providing the best care for each patient. It is a work environment wherein you will feel the support and resources you need to be efficient in your work, and have the opportunity to learn from the best... and they have espresso machine!!!

iScope is a great clinic to work for.  The staff is very friendly and knowledgable.  The physicians and health practitioners are very approachable and focused on patient care.  Clinic is defintiely run with a very team oriented approach - every member is an integral part to the function of the facility. 
You will learn alot and work with the best!

I enjoyed my time working for ISCOPE and it is absolutely killing me to have to leave due to having to move province! It was a wonderful work culture and the job itself brought me so much joy, as an IMG who had a chance to get involved in direct patient care. Absolutely wonderful experience. 

Practitioners work independently but also have the team to consult with which is very helpful. Having other practitioners to collaborate with really allows the patient care to be a priority. The work environment is fast-paced and busy, as a medical clinic typically is.
