Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender / Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and service.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies.
Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, while managing cash handling effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Uphold high standards of hospitality to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Skills

Proven experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons and team members.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
