Humans aren’t resources; we provide resources for humans.
Are you yearning to help a team of successful and passionate do-gooders reinforce meaning in their work, build reciprocal professional relationships, and feel empowered to grow and thrive? Kalamuna is a 13-year-old digital agency that serves mission-driven organizations and is looking for an empathetic people manager to support the team – about half of which are in Canada and the other in the US. We anticipate this will be a half-time position, though more if you’re a hiring activist.
Our Managers will need your advice and coaching on how to assess, motivate and reward their teams. You’ll help us implement best practices in HRIS systems and policies that make sense up and down the line. You’ll have a hand in hiring, and onboarding, and later a co-partner in employee growth and advocacy. We want you to be a trusted ear and counsel organization-wide.
Your familiarity with DEI and accessibility issues will be important to help format accommodations and help tear down barriers to maintaining an equitable and inclusive workplace. Our diversity is our strength, and we hope you can help us broaden it further.
Candidates for this part-time (20-30h/wk) remote position must reside in the US or Canada. If you’re a recruiter or agency, please don’t contact us.
