About Windsor Pure & Clean
Windsor Pure & Clean is a locally owned water treatment and bottled water company serving homeowners and businesses across Windsor and Essex County. We provide residential water treatment solutions, including water softeners, reverse osmosis drinking water systems, filtration products, and related service and maintenance.
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team in a part-time hybrid role that combines technical field work with in-store customer support.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving practical problems, interacting with customers, and being part of a small local business where reliability and attitude matter.
Position Overview
The Water Treatment Technician / Installer & Store Associate will support Windsor Pure & Clean’s service and installation operations while also working scheduled shifts in our retail water store.
Field duties may include assisting with or completing installations, service calls, filter changes, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and other customer-site work related to residential water treatment systems.
Store duties may include serving customers, assisting with water refills, handling retail transactions, keeping the store organized, and helping customers with general product and service questions.
The role will include a mix of in-store shifts and field-based work, depending on business needs and the successful candidate’s skill set.
Key ResponsibilitiesWater Treatment Service & Installation
- Assist with the installation of residential water treatment equipment, including:
- Water softeners
- Reverse osmosis systems
- Whole-home filtration systems
- Carbon and sediment filters
- UV systems and related equipment
- Support routine maintenance, filter changes, sanitization, and service work
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and communicate findings clearly
- Work in customer homes in a clean, respectful, and professional manner
- Safely carry and move equipment, tools, and materials as required
- Maintain a neat and organized work area during and after service visits
- Complete service notes, job details, and other basic documentation accurately
- Assist with additional field duties as needed
Retail Store Support
- Provide friendly and professional customer service in the store
- Assist customers with water refills, products, and general inquiries
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and presentable retail environment
- Restock products, bottles, and store supplies as needed
- Support day-to-day store operations during scheduled shifts
- Represent Windsor Pure & Clean in a positive and helpful manner
QualificationsRequired
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Strong customer service skills
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Able to lift, carry, and move equipment, water bottles, and supplies as required
- Comfortable working in residential settings such as basements, utility rooms, and customer homes
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to learn Windsor Pure & Clean’s products, systems, and service standards
Preferred, but Not Required
- Experience in water treatment, plumbing, HVAC, appliance installation, general contracting, maintenance, or a related hands-on trade
- Previous experience with residential service calls or in-home installations
- Retail or customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, or filtration equipment

Schedule
- Part-time position
- Hours will be scheduled based on store coverage, service appointments, and installation needs
- Role includes a combination of in-store shifts and field service / installation work
- Some weekday and occasional Saturday availability may be required
Compensation
Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour and may be higher depending on the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, technical ability, and the responsibilities assigned within the role.
As this position includes both store-based and field-based duties, compensation will be structured appropriately based on qualifications and the nature of the work being performed.
