```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at The Flats Eatery + Drink. As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. ```Description```
-Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and breakfast sandwiches according to recipes and standards.
-Set up and stock the breakfast station before service (prep ingredients, sauces, and garnishes).
-Ensure food is cooked and presented to quality and portion standards.
-Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
-Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
-Monitor food levels and communicate low stock to the kitchen manager or supervisor
-Properly store and label food items according to health guidelines
-Assist with prep work for the next shift as needed
-Work efficiently during busy breakfast rush periods to ensure timely service
-Follow all company policies and kitchen procedures
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience working in a food service or restaurant kitchen preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work well in a team setting

- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
