Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to a positive community atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with attention to quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly service
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Support team members during busy periods by serving customers efficiently and courteously

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable
