Full job description

We're seeking a dynamic and diligent Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our client's vibrant team in the East End! This full-time opportunity requires a committed and reliable individual looking to make a lasting impact.

Required skills and qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a similar warehouse or material handling position, with a proven track record of efficiency and accuracy
Valid certification and previous experience operating an electric counterbalance forklift, with ability to navigate tight spaces and handle heavy loads
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift, with proper lifting techniques and attention to safety protocols
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Ability to listen attentively to instructions, ask clarifying questions, and follow directions accurately
Willingness to work overtime as needed, staying until the job is done

Assets:

Knowledge of wood or hardware would be considered a strong asset

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands, ensuring timely and damage-free shipment
Load orders and skids into trucks for next-day delivery, verifying shipment details and ensuring secure transportation
Utilize the in-house system to ship out orders, generating shipping labels, tracking numbers, and updating order status
Operate an electric counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently, loading/unloading products and supplies
Receive product shipments, inspecting for damage and verifying quantities, and enter them into the inventory management system.
Assist customers with gathering/loading their orders in the drive-thru section of the warehouse, providing excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols
Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift, utilizing proper lifting techniques
Perform other duties as assigned

Wage: $22.00 per hour

Regular hours: Monday to Friday – 4:00pm – 12:00am with a strong possibility of overtime
