WE'RE HIRING

Marketing & Event Coordinator

**Location:** Vancouver, BC

**Pay:** Starting from $25+/hour (based on experience)

**Hours:** Approximately 15–25 hours per week (Part-Time)

UGL is looking for a motivated, creative, and reliable **Marketing & Event Coordinator** to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, customer follow-up, partnership development, and working in a dynamic customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Content and Community Management

Assist with planning and creating content for Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, and other relevant platforms.
Capture and organize photos and videos of the venue, promotions, events, products, and customer experiences.
Write simple English and Chinese captions and publish content according to the content schedule.
Respond to social media comments, direct messages, and general customer inquiries.
Collect customer photos, videos, testimonials, and event materials for future marketing use.

2. Client Relations and Event Coordination

Follow up with inquiries received through Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, and other channels.
Proactively follow up with customers who may be interested in events, corporate bookings, group bookings, or larger purchases.
Gather information about the customer’s preferred date, group size, budget, venue requirements, and event format.
Support event lead generation, customer communication, and booking coordination.
Conduct venue showings and introduce customers to the Open Bays, VIP Rooms, equipment, and available event options.
Assist with preparing quotations, event proposals, and contracts.
Follow up on contract confirmation, signatures, deposits, and pre-event requirements.
Coordinate event setup, customer reception, event flow, and on-site support.
Collect post-event feedback and maintain relationships with customers after the event.
Organize event photos, videos, testimonials, and other materials for future promotions and case studies.

3. Partnerships and Business Development

Identify and contact local businesses, schools, community groups, golf coaches, content creators, and other potential partners.
Follow up with influencers, brands, event organizers, and community organizations that contact UGL.
Develop cross-promotions, venue partnerships, brand collaborations, and community events.
Assist with evaluating the required investment, potential return, and operational difficulty of partnership opportunities.
Build and maintain a contact list of partners and potential event clients.
Track the results of partnerships, including exposure, inquiries, attendance, bookings, and customer activity.

4. General Operations Support

Maintain event calendars, customer follow-up records, and partnership pipelines.
Coordinate with front desk staff and internal team members regarding bookings, event details, and special customer requests.
Assist with preparing event materials, promotional items, and on-site supplies.
Record common customer questions, lost booking reasons, and customer feedback.
Support other customer service, marketing, and event-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in marketing, event coordination, customer service, sales, or social media is preferred.
Strong communication and customer follow-up skills.
Comfortable proactively contacting potential clients and partners.
Able to manage customer inquiries and help move leads toward bookings or confirmed events.
Organized, responsible, and capable of managing multiple customers and events at the same time.
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, and other social media platforms.
Basic photography, Canva, graphic design, or short-form video editing skills are an asset.
Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is an asset.
Availability to support some evening or weekend events when required.
Interest in golf or experience in entertainment, hospitality, food and beverage, or event venues is an asset, but not required.
