RCA Job Duties: Under the direction of professional nursing staff, assists residents with the activities of daily living such as: dressing, feeding, personal hygiene and transfers. Perform clerical duties such as entering information onto electronic or manual charts, attending meetings, reporting to team members. Other related duties as per the HEU Collective Agreements.
RCA Job Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Residential Care Aide Program; Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry; and exhibit good critical thinking, cooperation, and communication skills.
Salary/Wages: Starting at 31.64/hour

LPN Job Duties: Our Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of our RNs, Care Manager, and Director of Care and function under Full Scope of the BCCNM. LPN's will participate fully as members of the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for work assignments in accordance with competency guidelines within the standards of practice, as outlined by the BCCNM and current legislative scope of practice.
LPN Job Qualifications: Active BCCNM Practicing License without limitations. Ability to: communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Team Lead; deal with others effectively and respectfully; organize workflow and operate related equipment.
LPN Salary/Wages: Range of $32.84/hour (minimum) – $41.35/hour (maximum). As per the BCNU provincial agreement.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties: Our Registered Nurses, under the direction of the Care Manager, plan, organize, co-ordinate, and provide direct nursing care to elders. Within a multidisciplinary care environment, the RN provides guidance to LPNs and RCAs for elder care, which is consistent with current standards of professional practice, the Philosophy of Care, and established organizational standards. RNs will participate fully as members of the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for work assignments in accordance with competency guidelines within the standards of practice, as outlined by the current legislative scope of practice. In the absence of both the Care Manager and CEO, is assigned in-charge responsibilities and maintains responsibility for making contact with such senior managers in the event of unusual circumstances
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Qualifications: Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing Program; current practicing membership with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC) and, current membership with the BCNU; two years recent related experience working with elderly and/or mental health clients, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) Salary/Wages: Range of $41.42/hour (minimum) – $55.91/hour (maximum). As per the BCNU provincial agreement.
