Position: Seasonal full-time, with potential for permanent employment

Deconstructors Demolition Inc. is hiring Demolition Labourers and Skilled Labourers for our busy project season.
We are looking for applicants at different experience levels—from dependable people who want to learn the industry to experienced labourers who are comfortable working independently with tools and contributing skilled support on active job sites.
Demolition is about much more than tearing things down. Our crews carefully prepare sites, dismantle structures and interior spaces, recover reusable materials, sort recycling and debris, and leave each site safe, clean, and ready for its next stage.
Available Opportunities
Demolition Labourer
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in demolition, deconstruction, construction, environmental services, and the skilled trades.
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Training and supervision will be provided to applicants who are reliable, safety-minded, and ready to learn.
Skilled Labourer
This opportunity is suited to someone with previous demolition, construction, carpentry, renovation, concrete, excavation, or related experience.
Skilled Labourers may be expected to work more independently, use a wider range of tools and equipment, assist with complex demolition activities, interpret work instructions, and help less-experienced crew members complete tasks safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your experience and the project, your duties may include:
- Preparing job sites before demolition or deconstruction begins
- Setting up signage, barricades, containment areas, and controlled-access zones

- Assisting with concrete demolition, site preparation, and general construction activities
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Inspecting and helping maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Participating in hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and other safety documentation
- Following project plans and directions from foremen and supervisors
- Working respectfully with coworkers, clients, subcontractors, and other trades
Skilled applicants may also:
- Operate tools and equipment based on their training and demonstrated competency
- Complete detailed or technical demolition work
- Assist with layout, measurements, material planning, and work sequencing
- Identify hazards and communicate changing site conditions
- Support crew productivity and quality expectations
- Help guide and mentor less-experienced labourers

All applicants should:
- Be reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Take safety seriously
