We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven International Regional Manager (Canada) to lead market strategy, student recruitment and partnership development activities across Canada while contributing to the continued growth of our international student community.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic recruitment and business development professional to drive student growth, strengthen partnerships, and increase brand awareness in the Canadian market.
The successful candidate will develop and execute market growth strategies, build and manage recruitment pipelines, and represent Bond University to prospective students, schools, institutions, agents, alumni, industry partners, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market-specific recruitment and business development strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
- Build, manage, and convert prospective student pipelines across multiple recruitment channels.
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, agents, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
- Represent Bond University at recruitment events, presentations, exhibitions, school visits, and virtual engagement activities.
- Drive brand awareness and market share growth through innovative recruitment and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform recruitment strategies.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and deliver an exceptional prospective student experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Utilise CRM and recruitment technologies to effectively manage enquiries, applications, offers, and enrolments.
- Contribute to data-driven planning, reporting, and performance evaluation against key recruitment objectives.
- Manage regional budgets and recruitment activities while ensuring strong return on investment.
About You
You are a highly motivated relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You combine commercial acumen with a passion for education and student success.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications, public relations, education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years professional experience in international student recruitment, education marketing, business development, or a comparable relationship-focused sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding recruitment, sales, or business growth targets.
- Proven experience developing strategic partnerships that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using market intelligence and data to inform decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of the international higher education sector and student recruitment landscape.
- A strong commitment to customer service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to operate under an independent contractor arrangement in Canada and undertake any associated taxation, insurance and regulatory obligations.
