Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. As a Lead Line Cook, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a fast-paced restaurant environment dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee the food preparation process, ensuring all dishes are prepared efficiently and accurately.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff during service hours.
Train new team members on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
Ensure timely delivery of orders to maintain excellent customer service.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Uphold a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and professionalism.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, meal preparation, and food safety standards.
Previous restaurant experience with a focus on serving customers efficiently while maintaining quality.
Excellent skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Ability to lead a team effectively, demonstrating leadership qualities and good communication skills.
Knowledge of the latest trends in the food industry is a plus.
Must have relevant kitchen experience with a solid understanding of restaurant workflows.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness. This position is integral to delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests by ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and operational efficiency.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
