Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, along with familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
Inforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other unlawful activities
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries while maintaining a professional presence
Conduct inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or concerns

Requirements

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred
Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clear incident reports
Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties and stand for extended periods
Ability to pass background checks and any required training certifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are a plus

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
