Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef / Dessert Specialist

Résidence O Bons Soins

We are looking for a Pastry Chef / Dessert Specialist who has a passion for creating delicious, homemade old-fashioned desserts that bring comfort and joy to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of homemade desserts, including pies, cakes, cookies, squares, puddings, and other traditional baked goods.
Plan and create dessert menus suitable for seniors.
Ensure all desserts are prepared in accordance with food safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized baking area.
Assist with inventory
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to provide high-quality meals and desserts for residents.

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to cross-train in the kitchen.
Must be able to replace the Cook during sick days, vacation periods, or other absences.
Ability to prepare full meals when required is considered an asset.
Previous baking or pastry experience preferred.
Experience in a long-term care, special care home, or institutional kitchen is an asset.
