Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Perform data entry tasks accurately using QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software
Handle filing, record keeping, and document management with attention to detail
Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading, document preparation, and correspondence
Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Support office staff with clerical duties including typing, filing, and basic bookkeeping tasks

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and clerical work
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Attention to detail for proofreading and document accuracy
Previous office experience, especially in medical or dental settings, is advantageous
Customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of front desk operations, including filing systems and administrative procedures

This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our administrative team while developing valuable skills in office management and customer support.

Pay: $17.85-$27.04 per hour
