MJR is currently seeking to fill a permanent, full time position of Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Accounts Receivable Clerk duties and responsibilities include

· Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

· Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.

· Post and reconcile client payments to general ledgers.

· Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied transactions.

· Reconcile accounting ledgers related to revenue and accounts receivable.

· Effectively communicate and collaborate with the team of any outstanding and over-due accounts.

· Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its clients.

· Assist in preparing and analyze accounts receivable reports for management review

Assisting or covering for other accounting functions if necessary.

Qualifications:

· Experience in Accounts Receivable with accounting software application such as Quickbooks or Simply accounting.

· Attention-to-detail and demonstrate analytical skills and analyze payment trends and discrepancies.

· Demonstrate ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

· Able to perform moderate to complex account reconciliations.

· Proficiency with Microsoft applications- MS Word, MS Excel with ability to create spreadsheets from data base.

· Good oral and written communication skills.

· Experience with other functions such as accounts payable and/or payroll a definite asset.
