Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician/Painter to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing high-quality body repairs and paintwork on a variety of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair, familiarity with dealership procedures, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive restoration and repair to develop their skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Repair and restore vehicle bodies following factory specifications and safety standards
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and masking as needed
Apply paint, primer, and finishes using spray guns or other painting tools
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to facilitate repairs
Conduct inspections to ensure repairs meet quality standards before returning vehicles to customers
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
Follow dealership or company procedures for vehicle repair documentation

Qualifications

Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Experience with automotive painting techniques is highly desirable
Mechanic experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety protocols and continuous learning in automotive repair techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
