Our rapid growth is driving our need to expand our engineering team that designs our plants for sites throughout the United States and Canada. We are a full turnkey solution provider so you will also understand the importance and advantages of having a collaborative approach to getting things done - not only to realize your departmental goals but the greater Company goals as well. As a member of our engineering team, you will participate in short and long-range planning sessions and be an active contributor to the long-term success of the projects.
Working with our engineering and project delivery staff to create construction, PID, and as-built drawings, underground and above ground piping systems, StreamGo AutoCAD drafters play an important role in delivering our state-of-the-art water treatment design and fabrication offerings. We are looking to you to impress us with top-notch drawings through all phases of our design, build and operate water servicing projects. Your role as an AutoCAD designer will be to:
● Design underground piping and concrete tanks, underground and above piping systems, site plans, general assembly drawings in 3D AutoCAD only.
● Draft and update drawings
● Support construction in drawing and specification interpretations, design modifications, scheduling
● Work alongside and communicate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines
● Participate in 3D model reviews
● Actively participate in seeking innovative solutions
● Perform other technical functions to help deliver our projects
Our Intermediate/Senior AutoCAD position offers a unique opportunity to learn all facets of our design and show off your stuff. What you bring:
● Technical Diploma or Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
● Excellent understanding of design principles related to piping and mechanical systems
● Minimum 3+ years of Civil or Mechanical piping layout experience
● 3+ years experience with AutoCAD 3D (All work done in AutoCAD 3D using blocks and 3D object shapes)
● Experience with piping iso drawings production
● Excellent command of AutoCAD and drafting skills
● Proven team player, detail oriented, able to work with minimum supervision and with strong time management skills; must be able to manage multiple projects at a time
● Entrepreneurial spirit, displaying creativity and innovation by continually working to improve solutions, tools, methods and service delivery system
What you can expect from us:
Job Type: Fulltime on-site (Hamilton) with some hybrid opportunity. Occasional travel (less than 20%)
Salary Commensurate with Experience. We are targeting a starting salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per annum adjusted by qualifications, experience and domain knowledge.
