Full job description

Worley is seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Control Inspectors to work with our growing team.

Details:

10/4 rotation
10 hour days

Responsibilities:

Ensure that Quality requirements are met as per Cord Quality Manual.
Create and review Inspections & Test Plans. (ITP)
Receive and inspect the E&I equipment and ensure proper storage and preservation is met.
Participate in the identification and documentation of non-compliance.
Review client QA agreements and ensure compliance with document requirements.
Lead the systems walk down and arrange the post walk down meetings to finalize the punch list content and categorization.
Generate, manage and report daily punch status.
Perform various electrical tests and inspections.
Complete the quality assurance checks and compile final handover documentation.
Prepare as-built drawings and redlines using Bluebeam.
Working knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam and other software considered an asset.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Electrician
Understanding of Jurisdictional Authority of requirements
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code. (CEC)
CSTS 2020, Confined Space, AWP & Fall Protection Training
Knowledge of testing equipment Ex. Megger, Multimeter, Torque
Ability to read and interpret various drawings Ex. P&ID, Single Line
Basic computer skills (MS word, MS excel, Bluebeam)
Strong communication skills written and verbal. Be able to communicate to all levels of management. Must be well organized. Pay attention to detail.
This position requires the candidate to be in the field 60% of the time and 40% in office (climbing ladders, crawling under/over obstructions, some minor lifting required and sitting for extended periods).

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Journeyman Red Seal certificate
Minimum 2 years of E&I QC experience

IT Skills:

Basic computer skills ( MS Word, MS Excel)

People Skills:

Strong communication skills written and verbal
Be able to communicate to all levels of management
Must be well organized
Attention to detail
