About the Position:
The Speech Language Pathologist, Primary Service Provider plays a key role in supporting children and families by delivering high-quality, evidence-informed services across a variety of settings. Utilizing your skills as a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have a designated caseload as the Primary Service Provider (PSP) for children and families on your team. As the PSP you will deliver services in natural learning environments through regular visits, advocate for families, support universal and discipline-specific interventions, coordinate IPP development, support Education Lead with transition reports and provide secondary service provider consultation to team members. You will supervise Developmental Assistants assigned to the caseload by supporting orientation, coaching, training, performance reviews and approve time for payroll.
As part of a transdisciplinary team, you will contribute as a Secondary Service Provider through coaching and consultation to support other Primary Service Providers through joint visits, collaborative planning, and professional learning activities. This offers colleague‑to‑colleague coaching and guidance on discipline‑specific referrals, resources, and equipment, including AAC and AADL.
