We are currently seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This is a leadership position for a skilled installer who can confidently complete residential HVAC installations from start to finish while leading an assigned helper.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience installing heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, water heaters, tankless water heaters, air handlers, and indoor air quality equipment. Experience with Midea heat pump systems is highly preferred.
A company truck, helper, major installation tools, and full support will be provided. We need someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and consistently delivers high-quality installations and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Lead residential HVAC installations from start to finish
Supervise and direct an assigned helper
Install and commission heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and air handlers
Install tankless water heaters and conventional water heaters
Complete refrigeration piping, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and charging procedures
Perform startup, commissioning, and system performance verification
Configure thermostats, controls, and equipment settings
Troubleshoot installation-related issues independently
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Complete required job documentation and installation photos
Provide excellent customer service and professionalism at all times
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
Experience as a Lead Installer or Senior Installer
Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems
Valid G2 Gas Technician License (G1 considered an asset)
ODP Certification
Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and lead a helper
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Extensive experience with heat pump installations
Direct experience with Midea heat pump systems
Sheet metal experience
Tankless water heater installation experience
Working at Heights Certification
