We’re looking for a reliable and guest-focused Relief Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This flexible overnight role provides coverage as needed and plays a key part in ensuring everything runs smoothly while the hotel sleeps – from guest check-ins to financial accuracy and property safety.
As a Relief Night Auditor, you’ll be the main point of contact overnight, delivering exceptional guest service while managing essential behind-the-scenes responsibilities that support the smooth operation of the hotel.
What you’ll do:
- Welcome late arrivals and assist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Respond to guest needs, calls, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Complete nightly audit procedures, including balancing transactions and preparing reports
- Ensure accurate financial reconciliation within the Property Management System
- Support guest safety and property security throughout the night
- Provide helpful local information and maintain a calm, welcoming presence
- Carry out system updates and basic administrative tasks
- Provide coverage for scheduled days off, vacations, and other operational needs
What we’re looking for:
- A friendly, self-motivated team player with a strong guest service mindset
- Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong data entry skills, numerical accuracy, and analytical ability
- Able to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Previous front desk, night audit, or customer service experience is an asset, but not essential
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business requirements
