Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining operations. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where quality and efficiency are prioritized.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software to produce complex parts with high precision.
Set up CNC machines, including installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring proper calibration.
Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
Monitor machining processes, inspecting parts for quality and making adjustments as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Document production data, machine settings, and inspection results accurately.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve manufacturing issues promptly.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Skilled in programming CNC machines using G-code or CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.
Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and machine setup procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot machine errors and make real-time adjustments for continuous improvement.
Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs for quality inspection.
Prior experience working with various materials including metals and plastics is preferred. This position is ideal for candidates committed to precision craftsmanship and continuous learning within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
