Position Overview
We are looking for a detail focused and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support our Supply Chain and Warehouse operations. This role is ideal for a strong performer who excels in fast paced, high-volume environments and takes pride in accuracy, ownership, and follow-through.
The Logistics Coordinator will manage daily freight activities, maintain precise operational data, and ensure seamless communication across suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. Success in this role requires strong Excel skills, sound judgment, and confidence handling multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality. We are seeking someone with proven experience who can work independently and consistently deliver reliable results.
Location: Concord, ON (Hwy 400 & 7). This role requires the candidate to work out of the regional office at 441 Applewood Crescent, Concord, ON.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication & Coordination
- Manage high volume communication with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clear and proactive updates on delivery timelines to Inside Sales and other teams.
- Freight & Documentation
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including collecting quotes and selecting carriers.
- Prepare and review import/export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, B 13 forms).
- Track, analyze, and accurately report freight costs.
- ERP & Data Accuracy
- Maintain accurate shipment and delivery information in Business Central.
- Ensure all operational data remains current, complete, and error free.
- Inventory & Purchase Order Management
- Receive and verify inventory transactions after warehouse confirmation.
- Audit purchase orders for correct pricing, freight charges, and delivery details.
- Identify discrepancies early and resolve issues promptly to avoid customer impact.
- Operational Support
- Maintain organized documentation and operational records.
- Support Supply Chain and Warehouse leadership with administrative and process related tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or high-volume administrative environments.
Experience with freight coordination or import/ export documentation is a strong asset.
Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy and strong documentation discipline.
Highly organized with the ability to manage high transaction volumes and prioritize multiple deadlines.
Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and data interpretation skills; comfortable with freight calculations and operational data.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, analysis) plus solid Outlook and Word proficiency.
Experience using ERP systems (Business Central preferred).
Clear professional communication skills, written and verbal.
Able to follow structured processes and SOPs with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
