Phoenix Restorations Ltd. Is looking to hire a Drywaller that can paint and texture. This position is primarily responsible for completing the drywall, texture, painting and install baseboards as required. You will provide professional service to all customers and clients while maintaining a high standard of customer service and quality workmanship. You will be expected to foster good working relationships at all levels of the company, meet the company standards for attendance and punctuality and maintain a high level of personal grooming and appearance. Main Duties and responsibility
- Preparation of site protection
- Load and unload construction materials to work areas
- Installation and/or repairing of drywall
- Application of tape and mud
- Perform various types of painting and texturing
- Installing base boards and door casings
- Use of power tools. Safely and effectively
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment and report any deficiencies
- Attend all division meetings and training sessions as required
- Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality
Requirements
- Clean criminal record
- Valid BC Drivers license with clean Abstract
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take direction
- Take accountability
- Team player and positive attitude
- Concern and interest in providing quality service to customers
Working Conditions
- This role works primarily in designated territories throughout the Lower Mainland
- Company provided PPE must be worn on jobsites as required
- Employee provided CSA safety footwear must be worn on all jobsites
- Typical work hours are 8:00 – 4:30 with a 1/2-hour unpaid lunch break
- Some overtime may be required during peak business periods
