Rose Up Fitness is a new performance-focused training facility opening in Alliston, founded by a Canadian Olympic Gold Medalist.
Our mission is to help young athletes and motivated adults become stronger, healthier, and more confident through expert coaching, individualized programming, and a supportive training environment.
We believe high-quality coaching should be accessible to everyone, not just elite athletes. We are building a facility focused on athlete development, confidence, and long-term performance.
We are looking for a passionate Performance Coach who wants to be part of building this vision and making a positive impact in our community.
Position Overview
The Performance Coach will work with athletes and adults through strength and conditioning, movement training, and performance-based coaching programs.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coaching, enjoys working with youth athletes, and wants to continue developing their skills within a growing fitness company.
Responsibilities
- Deliver small group performance training sessions
- Coach youth athlete strength and conditioning programs
- Support speed, agility, and movement development
- Conduct athlete assessments and track progress
- Provide technical coaching feedback and guidance
- Support injury prevention initiatives
- Build positive relationships with athletes and families
- Maintain a safe, professional, and encouraging training environment
- Assist with camps, workshops, combines, and special events
- Maintain facility organization and cleanliness

Qualifications
Required:
- Personal Training Certification (CanFitPro, NASM, ACE, ISSA, CSEP, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience coaching athletes and/or youth populations in strength and conditioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- CSCS Certification
- CSEP-CEP Certification
- Degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Exercise Science, or related field
- Experience coaching speed, agility, and strength development
- Return-to-play experience
Successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
