Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to lead and manage daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing sales and merchandising strategies, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Supervisor will play a key role in fostering a positive team environment, driving sales performance, and ensuring store standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality customer service
Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance performance and professional growth
Manage payroll, scheduling, and time management to optimize staffing levels
Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to maximize sales opportunities
Handle cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and bookkeeping with accuracy
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide training & development opportunities
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management review
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Resolve customer complaints effectively while maintaining positive relationships
Manage store budgets and oversee administrative tasks related to store management

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in retail or related fields with strong team management skills
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing, and sales management
Ability to recruit, interview, and train staff; leadership qualities essential for motivating teams
Knowledge of budgeting, payroll processing, purchasing, and inventory control
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Administrative experience including record keeping and organizational skills is preferred
